    Pros +

    • Staff is so friendly owner at reception is also good
    • central location and close to the beach and restaurants and entertainment.
    • I liked the location of the property as it was super close to the beach, restaurants and spas. It has the basics that I needed. The pool has only 5 lounge chairs, so it’s first come first serve and the regulars reserve it first. I didn’t have an opportunity to use as I prefer the beach and getting into the ocean. I chose the breakfast option and it’s buffet style. Unlimited coffee, tea, water and juice.

    Cons -

    • There is a cockroach in room
    • its and old hotel with very little room maintainanece. chair broken , shower head coming off, not enough power points and power point come out from the wall.
    • You couldn’t adjust the air conditioning in the room. It got super cold at one point and I would have loved to adjust the temperature or turn or turn off periodically. Also most hotels would have a shampoo and conditioner included, but in this one you have to have your own.

The location was right in the heart of Legian

The fact that there were bedbugs. It has been 7 days since I was infected. I have JUST recovered. The room I wasin smelled stale. The room others in my party were in smelled like cigarettes.

Location, location, location! Shopping at your doorstep, 5 mins walk to the beach, the pool was perfect and the food delicious!

The property is aged, but if you're happy for somewhere safe and clean to sleep comfortably, you'll love it.

Picture was way different from reality. Bathtub had centipedes and we boil hot water and flush it down for few times as my child was looking forward for bubble bath. Aircon leak really bad. Telephone lines not in use and we cant call for reception or guest service in our room. Toilet water smells really bad. Really really bad!

The location was ideal for walking to the beach area. Lots of choice of restaurants and bars near by. The staff we met at the property were really nice, in particular, Ryan, a member of staff at the bar.

The bathroom needed some attention, particularly the shower. Not a lot of choice for breakfast.

nice place in the heart of Legian super close to all restaurants, shops, bars, the ocean, etc. We stayed in their extended building in a more quiet area... actually it was absolutely quiet at night...

    nothing to complain about....

    5VickiPosted on: 3-29-2025

Bit disappointed as they put me in a room with construction happening and welding happening right outside my door. Then they moved me on request to a daggy old room. I ended up paying more for a better room . Had no hot water the whole time

    3BobbiePosted on: 3-28-2025

Lots of problems with sink blocking, toilet leaking, had to point showed at wall otherwise it sprayed everywhere. Dust or something from ceiling all in bathtub n floor everyday. Pics didn’t look like it actually is.

    8ChristofPosted on: 3-24-2025

We (myself and my daughter) both had a room in the outbuilding on the other side of the road... Very calm and very nice room.. also separate swimming pool area..

    Nothing to complain really...

The staff at the hotel were absolutely lovely, the pool was great, the bed comfortable and the breakfast plentiful and more than adequate. About a ten minute walk to the beach which was huge. Plenty of places to eat around. Some very decent musicians at the hotel each night and other places around.

Didn't really take to Legian, every other shop a tattoo parlour, or massage, plenty of fake good shops, An abundance of shops selling carved wooden signs, which would have been lovely if they hadn't have been so disgusting and vulgar. Who buys them I couldn't say. They can actually make you a 'normal' sign if you ask. We went in low season and still a good amount of folk there, quite a few seem to travel in larger groups, so an impact on noise level. Hotel Legian Village needs serious updates in rooms. Whilst ours was clean, the furniture was very tired. Burns on the toilet paper holder, stains in the base of the bath. Metal on back of bathroom door, maybe because of the high humidity? Bathroom door got jammed one night, at 2 in the morning they were trying to open it, no joy, so gave us keys to another room to use, and suggested we slept there. Bathroom was welcome, but couldn't sleep there as a lot of mould around the base of the walls, on bathroom ceiling too. The bed was actually damp due to the mould. So we just used the bathroom. Hope they don't change the bed in the room we stayed in though because that was really comfortable.

    Central location

Not all rooms are the same standard I had stayed here 18 months ago had a really good experience so I returned this time was so different the aircon didnt work after arguing I was given another room until it was fixed then the water went off there was no hot water the whole time I was there 1 of the reasons I booked was there was a lift not to the upstairs room I was in this trip I will not return

    Location.

Sadly the owners have let the Joni 2 site in garlic lane turn into a state of disrepair. After many years of coming here, it will be our last.

    check in was easy

The advertisement for the hotel does not match the rooms etc. I stayed one night only as I arrived late after 10pm and found a new hotel by 6am the next morning. No refund or applogies and the staff didnt care it was like it was expected.

If U want a cheap place to stay this is a good one. Great older style Balinese hotel.

Everything was great except the cats, dogs and roosters going off around 5am. Good value for your money if U can sleep thru this.

I've stayed here before and definitely will again, fabulous hotel with a beautiful pool and amazing staff. Great location, close to shops and the beach. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

    6MelissaPosted on: 2-18-2025

The position is perfect to shops and restaurants

The balcony door didn’t close and there was a gap so when it rained the floor inside flooded and it was very close to the bed so didn’t want to slip. Bathroom was dirty, mouldy and run down.

    5NaomiPosted on: 2-17-2025

It was very central to Bali itself. But the rooms were old. The fridge wasn’t clean . Bathroom was tacky. Water went everywhere when showering. Toilet system didn’t flush properly

It was out dated . The was a door in between the rooms , but it was door who can hear people’s conversations next door . I get the idea of interconnecting rooms but least make the door solid & sound proof.

    Location

The hotel was very outdated; the breakfast included was very average and same every day without variety; the older rooms need to be refurbished, toilet did not flush straight away had to flush several times, there was always water on the floor of the toilet, Booking.com customers get the awful old rooms in the old part of the hotel; we approached management to get a better/decent room and they still offered in the old part of which was same as the initial one. They argue they were fully booked and or expecting repetitive customers so that is why they could not give us a decent room. For 12 days we had to live with the fact that we have been in better hotels with beautiful food and nice rooms to enjoy our holidays. Booking.com needs to be aware of what the property is offering to your customers
