Grand Kuta Hotel and Residence

The location close to everywhere special when i am looking to explore indonesian restaurant easy access too not very tourist place which is i like it , safe and the staff very friendly and helpfull.

Kitchen was not open and only able to provide minimal options. Swimming pool could not be used at certain times of the day as the hotel does children's swimming lessons and the area is to crowded to use

Quiet. Spacious room.

The food is terrible and definitely not worth it especially breakfast. The staff didn't speak much English which made communication frustrating and slow.

Excellent and clean pool.

Breakfast was poor. The soup was cold and only instant coffee on offer. We were forced to go to Starbucks over the road!

Staff were lovely! Great Italian restaurant over the road.

Location is a long distance to the beach and any of the buzz. Room was very much in need of an update and repair. Pool bar wasn’t in use at all. Our pool closed at 6pm every night so that was a huge disappointment. It’s more of a residence than a hotel. Only one or two sun lounge chairs. Not like the website photos.

Very cooperative and smiling staff, great food. The location is easily accessible. Great value for money. Would highly recommend and would come back next holidays.

The bathroom sink was blocked and took longer to attend. It didn't matter to us though

Location is the best and reception are absolutely perfect always ready to assist with anything and always wearing beautiful smiles,very happy helpful and professional.

I can't fault the hotel or staff it's always great that's why I keep coming back.

The location is near to lots of local restaurants.

The room has unpleasant smell. And the sound from bathroom exhaust are noisy.

Location was great. The place had easy access to many restaurants and food options. Well located to go around Seminyak and Legian places

The rooms, furniture and bed including mattresses and towels looked old and stained. The place is value for money but the cleanliness should be improved. It seems like it used to be a good hotel a while ago but hasn't been maintained very well

The pool was nice and rooms were comfortable

Comfortable bed. TV. Tea making facility, hair-dryer. Good staff.

Cleanliness. Bathroom floor needed a good scrub and table tops. Broken stairs into the pool, a real safety hazard. Hotel is looking very tired. 3 star not 4 star. Too far from tourist shops and beach.

I was not happy when as I was put in a room that was very run down. That was fixed instantly and we were upgraded to a completely brand new room I was so impressed and the rest of our stay was marvellous the hotel and its workers were accommodating and beautiful I will def stay again for the good value. Make sure ur room is upgraded :)

The location was very isolated.. it was advertised as bar and restaurant neither were there

It's a good choice for those who travel with family/friends as they have up to 3 bedrooms unit. However, it's an old property but it's pretty clean.

They don't allow us to dry our clothes outside the unit (the have terrace/balcony outside). Many guests will want to dry their wet clothes from the beach/pool.

Bad

We arrived on Thursday 6th July 2023 for 6 nights. We stayed 1 night and then changed hotels. The hotel is dirty, with none of what they say on Bookings website. There was no restaurant open, only for breakfast. No bar no room service. 2 sunbeds for the 3 pools and they are broken, one pool is half full only 80cm deep. Rooms dirty and you have to request to get room cleaned and clean towels. We both got bitten by bedbugs one the first night. We told staff we were leaving to go to a cleaner hotel and what the problem was and they did not care, only offered us a different room. I said what about the pool, restaurant and no bar, they just did not answer me.I will rate this hotel at best 1 star and I will write a review on it.
