Famous Hotel Kuta Formerly Permata Kuta Hotel

Location. Very close to the airport.Staff were friendly and helpful.

The pre-arranged driver from the airport to the hotel was not there to meet me, even although I was delayed. After phoning the hotel, the driver said he would leave immediately but I was still waiting AT LEAST 20 minutes later.The shower curtain was marked and dirty.The hotel deigns to charge for stains on anything, basically, whilst providing a stained shower curtain in room 305.

Clean and comfortable

Communication problems Booked one night but only planned to stay a few hours till our late night flight home. I told the staff many times we will check out early and not stay the night. As I checked out that evening before my flight, the staff still asked me questions why I was not staying overnight and I was told I could not check out till the next day. My flight was leaving same night, we only needed the room to rest and shower I quickly went and took photos of my room, cause if any damage had happened after I left and room was not checked out from my name I still don’t understand why they said if could not me done. I had already pre paid the full price

Reason we booked one night was because of its close to the airport.

Despite getting a email from the hotel about my upcoming booking, 3 days befor arriving. But when we arrived at the hotel the staff couldn't find the booking in their system.. Luckely there where 2 rooms available. So something went wrong there.

Did not have breakfast, was told not included but paid a fairly high price. Location very run down which should make hotel very well priced but is not. Staff very helpfull.

The price of the accomadation

Room was nice and comfortable. Food was reasonably priced.

There was smoking everywhere even in the eating area. I got incredibly ill will Bali belly and I had only eaten from the restaurant.

All staff were exceptional.Ketut (hotel manager) organised so much for us and made our stay memorable

Nothing.Our first trip ever to Bali has been amazing, only enhanced by the help and kindness of Ketut and all the staff.

The location is good

The rooms are old , like the sink was broken, water kettle mugs were dirty stained, breakfast looked sad luckily i hadnt opted

One of the rooms we stayed in had 2 doors and one was broken and sealed closed. The only access was through an all glass door that lead to the pool area; it did not feel safe. If there were a fire or any other emergency in the pool area we would have been trapped; the door needs to be fixed. The rooms were off the pool and the pool area was loud all night. The breakfast was cold horrible; not clean looking and bugs were flying all over the food. There was little to no food and it was only 8:00am when we ate. The best thing about breakfast for my youngest child could order hot eats.

the buffet breakfast didn’t accommodate for Australians taste. no milk for coffee and no cereal or spreads for toast

Fried rice OUTSIDE the hotel is nice

Rooms were unsanitary, upsell through marketing gimmicks like photo edits. Rooms were dirty, wet damp smell. Poorly lit and the walls of the room were thin, making the stay unpleasant due to loud volumes from neighboring rooms. My friends room had many mozzies, more than 10, and their showerhead was broken and unrepaired for one entire night, resulting in them unable to take a shower and good rest. Hotel informed us that they are able to refund our stay, but after checking out, seems like they went back on their words… Totally unpleasant stay, do not deserve 4 stars. We paid for a 2 star hotel with a 4star price, felt so cheated.

No hot water for shower our bath even when water would be left run for a few minutes still no hot water. Smell in the bathroomMusky smell in the bedroom got worse at times and especially after been out when I came back in to bedroom it was awful.Bad Smell from the fridge when opened.Key card used for main bedroom door. The hallway smelled Double doors which lead to pool access wouldn't lock I had to push furniture against it when leaving for awhile and at time night. Felt very uncomfortable trying to sleep. Also a load of students staying there you would see no one during the day but at evening/night very noisy roaring & screaming around the place.I had booked a weeks stay but after 3 days I left this hotel. I didn't want to be there anymore felt uneasy been there. Very disappointing stay. The place is old & run down.

The staff were exceptional, our flight was delayed meaning we arrived a day late and they moved our booking to the next day without having to ask or any extra charge. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The private drivers are very pushy about doing tours, using them all the time and tried to charge us extra on top of the agreed price at the hotel. Not a fault of the hotel but be wary of the drivers!

The staff are really friendly, the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was great ?

Live music show when I was trying to relax in my room.. The sound was vibrating through the place.

Very close to the airport which makes this location incredibly convenient for travelers. Also helpful that the front desk is open 24/7, as I had a late night flight and was still able to check in and ask questions to the staff.

I would have preferred to have a shower curtain in my bathroom.

Wi-Fi wouldn’t work in our room. room was right next to the pool so was loud and can hear people walk past at night. curtains wasn’t thick enough so the light would come through. The breakfast was disappointing.

Great Location. Staff slways friendly. Love all the local food vendors and warungs nearby. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Lovely room 105 by the pool. Good undercover to park your scooter.

Breakfast is limited and quite bland. Only redeeming feature was an egg selection.

We booked a room to freshen up for our flight home as we had just traveled back from Nusa Lembongan. The pool is being! You feel like your a world away and then you walk out the front and bang! in the thick of it all!

Excellent hotel with nice facilities. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Great traditional breakfast. Pool is clean and lovely. Amazing value

Army barracks over the road. A little disconcerting hearing gunshots - but only noisy from 9am

Kind staff, beautiful pool

The rooms were dirty and dusty, we found cockroaches in the bathroom, the towels were stained. It's a pity because the location in general seems beautiful.
