Vila kinagu

Great location, right in the middle of Gili Meno. They allow you to borrow their bikes for free, which is by far the best way to get around the island. The staff, especially Taufik Abdullah, will bend over backwards to accommodate anything you might need. You can book pretty much anything through him, i.e. snorkelling, boat travel, laundry, you name it. Breakfast was tasty and cooked promptly. If you can, book a more private villa, and you will get your own little pool, fridge, kitchenette, and lovely outdoor area.

This is not a criticism, just a heads-up: the bathroom tap and shower are saltwater, presumably filtered from the sea. Take a look at Gili Meno on a map, and you'll see why: All fresh water has to be brought in.

The place is small with only a few rooms, but the rooms are spacious and clean. We only stayed for one night but really liked the place. It has a nice swimming pool facing the rooms. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Kinagu. The pool was great and the location close enough to all the beaches. The added bonus of the free bikes helped us to get around the island with ease and the breakfast was great. The beds were firm and comfortable and the Air Conditioning kept the room cool and dry. Toufic Abdula and Andre were great! I liked that the Villa was not right on the beach allowing you to explore the different beaches. We found the snorkeling on the east (closer to Villa Kinagu) to be the best.

Quiet and peaceful, staff were lovely and the breakfast was great. Free bikes was a bonus!

Big rooms (family bungalow), nice pool. Friendly staff. Free bikes. Okay breakfast. Just 200 meters to nice beach. Quite and calm area. Good warungs just outside. Clean towels everyday.

The location is nice and quiet the staff are all very friendly. Rooms are very large and clean and would recommend villa kinagu to anyone that was looking for relaxing holiday ?

Everything! The photos speak for themselves. The location is ideal, 10 min walk inland from harbour, close to everywhere. The property has only four rooms plus two private villas and is located in beautifully, maintained grounds with a sparkling pool and free use of good bikes. The room is large and modern with lovely white soft sheets and a comfy bed. The bathroom is a good size with good water pressure, nice towels, an amenities pack and hairdryer. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is simple but plentiful and includes juice and a fruit platter.

Nothing. There were a few more flies and a few mosquitos, the first we’d experienced in Indonesia but not too annoying.

Nothing... wonderfull place ! However tourists from Trawagan comming by boat should be better instructed by their guide NOT to stand or touch the coral !!

We had a lovely stay in a villa with our own pool. The villa was comfortable with air conditioning and the pool was beautiful. We could also use the larger pool for other guests too. Breakfast was included and it was large and tasty.

The first night and day on the island there was loud thumping music coming from the habour until 1am and it started up again about 7.30 am. There was some kind of celebration but we couldn't sleep with it. This was nothing to do with the Villa but it was really annoying. Be aware also that the call to prayer can be heard loud and clear from the villa from all hours, but this is part of the culture of the island and didn't bother us

The staff were really friendly and accommodating during our stay, the room was decorated beautifully with flower petals for our honeymoon and the place was so peaceful and relaxing.

The bathroom smelt a little bit of damp and the floors felt a bit dirty getting out the shower so it was hard to keep your feet clean, but that's the only complaint really!

Centrally located Rooms in Gili Meno where very clean and came with free bike rental and tasty breakfast. The day we stayed there was a big celebration for the Indonesian Independence Day (Aug 17th) next door, which added some nice extra experience with fire dancing and fireworks.

Taufiq and his team welcomed us warmly with a refreshing drink and smiles! The villa was large, spotlessly clean with lovely linen, towels, pool towels and care kit. The pool was extremely well maintained and set in a lovely quiet garden. The beach was a 5-minute stroll away, free bikes. The breakfast was superb. Taufiq organised a snorkelling trip for the two of us, which was excellent value and avoided the crowds. Highly recommend.

Everything, beautiful staff and place to stay .The staff are so friendly & helpful. The room is big , very clean & comfortable.We would stay again if we return to Gili Meno .

The family room was perfect for our group of five, pool was nice, breakfast was epic. I had been a little worried about staying in the middle of the island as we had previously only stayed at the beach on Gili Meno, but the free bikes the villa provided actually meant thay we saw more of the island, and were more footloose and fancy free, than ever. Loved it. Will for sure stay here again.

Bathroom is a bit basic but that's not unusual for the location.

Kinagu Villas is a small, lovely homestay, that appears locally owned. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and immaculately cleaned.every day. The veranda overlooked the small pool. The pool itself seemed to be saltwater rather than chemical, and provided a welcome refreshing dip. The gardens were perfectly maintained and the vibe was quiet and relaxed. There are only a handful of bungalows, including one for families and two behind a gate that had a private pool. The breakfast was great, with a variety of choices, fresh juice and strong coffee. Villa Kinagu is located down a short dirt path off a quiet laneway, 200 metres from a beach where you can snorkel, hire a boat, have a drink or just relax on the sandy shore. Gili Meno is very laid back and feels more rural than the other two Gillis. There is less hype, fewer amenities, and more natural landscape. Nonetheless, there are plenty of local warungs and enough beach bars to satisfy your needs. Finally, the staff members were friendly, helpful and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can recommend it highly.

Although we didn’t come to Gili Meno to watch tv, it would have been nice to get some cable/streming channels, if only just to watch occasionally.

Lovely atmosphere, comfortable room, friendly staff, good quality (free) bikes for use. Highly recommended.

No body came near the room for the two nights that I was there, no room freshen up or new water. $100 a night in Indonesia, I'd at least expect that.

The place is amazing. Situated in calm area. The big plus is that you have a bike included in the price, which makes life easier. Really clean and nice place.
