I never leave bad reviews but this has to be said, no one checked us in or even said hello the morning after we arrived. food was average. We were there for Christmas and since they were offering a buffet for lunch (they told us there was no veggie option so we didn’t go for the buffet) we then were told we couldn’t order anything else so we couldn’t eat all day on Christmas. Couldn’t enjoy the pool as it became a kids pool. Ordered pizza which took 2 hours so we didn’t eat until 9pm. Our aircon was broken and it took a few hours for anyone to react, more hours to try fix it and then we got another room and the fan was broken. No space to hang clothes. No hot water. Some staff were lovely, some were almost annoyed when we asked for things like salt and pepper. WiFi didn’t work in the room only the bar.

The staff were amazing and accommodating. We had two young kids and they really looked after them, and took time to entertain them. The room was really comfortable for our family. Easy access to other places to have a meal or a drink, and nice and close to the beach and surf. The owner, Sean, was a great bloke. Seemed to be always asking if we and other guests were enjoying our stay, and seemed to be always assisting with peoples plans. The are renovations taking place, and really looking forward to returning and seeing the health and well being area complete, along with the fire pit and BBQ area. The surf was super accessible and there are bikes and cars at hand if needed.

The food was great but the menu could do with some updating. At the time they were in the process of reviewing their options, and i really look forward to seeing what they have on offer next time we visit.

Great location for surfing yoyos. Super easy bike rental with board rack. Pool table is always fun and a good ice breaker to meet other guests. Has everything you need as a girlfriend if your not surfing with your boyfriend. Yoga everyday was also a great bonus! Food was good and cheap.

Maybe only that you have to request to have your room cleaned but we can live with that :)

I loved the location and the views from the Villa.

How the Villa was implemented, lacked comfortable space to put clothes, like a wardrobe, also lacked implementation in the kitchen. The breakfast was very plain.

The hotel is nice but needs maintananceThe yoga lessons with Jess where the best. She adapts to your needs and offers an amazing yoga classThe staff in the bar are very nice and friendly. The owner is nice and approachable.

The options of breakfast are so scarce that you need to pay extra to have a decent meal. For the price of the hotel, would be nice to have something else than a simple black tea of american coffee as a drink.The restaurant food for lunch and dinner is also not recomended. The overall hotel is nice but lacks some maintanace. The pool is good but is missing many tiles and the bottom is full of sand and dirty. The gym is good but there is a hole in the roof and when it rains the whole equipment gets wet. Our room was not cleaned once not changed our towels in a full week of our stayThere is strong music from the hotel in front played until very late at night so I recommend bringing ear plugs. For the price paid the services given are really lacking quality.

Good waves close by! Our private bungalow was a work of art, loved all of our time in it. creative buildings and outdoor bathrooms, lovely and inviting in all aspects. Shaun and staff were friendly and helpful, met some good crew here! Jess on Yoga is a legend and super flexible for tailoring your session to your specific needs. Gym equipment was new and of good quality! This business is keeping lots of locals in a job with many projects on the go.

Our outdoor bathroom was visible from the hotel across the road and blinds aren’t fully blocked out so had to pay attention to anyone on their balcony lol

The beds were pretty firm. The room was super hot during the day. When we arrived We had a blood stain on our sheets that had been washed but could see that it was blood. I think for the price they could have a fridge in the room and take out the TV

Amazing location, great outdoor setup, cool bungalows with plenty of room (even have smart tvs for when the waves aren’t working) new gym is a great addition and staff are unreal, would love to come back here.

It goes with the territory really but if there was a way to get better internet then it would enable remote work opportunities.

Such a nice design! Everything about the room is what you want in this type of holiday.

A local gold mine is absolutely ruining the vibe of this whole area! As they don't have enough accommodation for these people they are inundating all the local hotels. Of course they carry on like MINERS which I am one myself and I don't want to listen to parties all night with rubbish rock music and see high Vis shirts everywhere I go..I felt like I was back at work! So essentially a 10/10 property ruined by Gold miners...

Everything was great! We booked 3 nights initially but extended twice and stayed 10 days in total. The bungalows are spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool and gardens are very well kept and provide a good space to relax between surfs. Yo-yo’s break is within walking distance and can easily be checked from the end of the beach path from the accommodation, tropicals 5 mins by scooter. Friendly, helpful staff and a good choice of food available all day. We did daily yoga which is included in the price, a real bonus. Varied classes taught by a knowledgeable instructor who catered to people’s requests.

Not much not to like. A beautiful place that has been very well thought out. Staff are wonderful, food and accommodation great. just an easy and comfortable place to hang out in or very close to beaches and surfing locations.

Staff and owner were all super friendly and helpful with whatever need.Highly recommend and would be coming back.

Water pressure in my room was weak. I believe the other rooms were good water pressure.

Good hotel but...

Take a key deposit of 200K from you. Don't give a receipt. Then don't remind you about it on checkout. Nice work!

The long you stay the comfortable you feel. Close to nature close to beach. The conditions and services are excellent.
