Katamaran Hotel & Resort Lombok

My kids are very picky eaters, we requested food that were not on the menu and the restaurants managed to cooked for us. We were so happy that our kids can eat during our 5days stay.

The water in the shower took a while to heat up, and the water wasn't very hot. So we felt slightly cold when using the outside shower.

Would’ve liked to get a massage but it was fully booked by the time I checked in with no openings before I left.

Great facilities with poor management, hospitality and service quality

I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent two-night stay at Katamaran Hotel. As a five-star hotel, I expected a certain level of quality, but unfortunately, my experience fell way short.The room's cleanliness was a major concern - the bed sheets and duvet cover were dirty and overused, and the towels had stains and blood. The bathroom was also in a poor state, as evident from the photos.The breakfast buffet was another letdown, with limited options and poor quality food. I was looking forward to trying some premium selections like cold cuts, smoked salmon, and cheese, but they were nowhere to be found. When I asked the chef to make an egg Benedict with smoked salmon, she agreed, but ended up serving me ham instead - which was against my religion. When I pointed this out, she didn't even apologize or try to resolve the issue.Considering the high price point, the overall experience was a huge disappointment. I'm paying a premium for a service that doesn't meet expectations, and that's totally unacceptable.

Great location, good food, solid staff.Moved us to a new room when our initial one smelled a bit off and even gave us an air purifier just in case.Staff remembered and recognized us; they were very friendly.

Pool wasn't ever cleaned, smell was off and not comfortable, room wasn't as clean as could be.

The beach views especially during sunset. The infinity pools. The food was amazing. The staffs were helpful and very friendly.

A memorable stay!! A wonderful resort and staff.Our week at Katamaran Hotel & Resort Lombok was wonderful from the start. When we arrived, some renovations were happening, and the team immediately offered to move us to a beautiful oceanfront room away from the work area, a gesture we truly appreciated. Every staff member we met was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, making our stay feel easy and comfortable.And then we met Nauval. His kindness, attention to detail, and heartfelt service made such an impact on our experience. He is the kind of person who elevates an entire resort simply by being who he is. Truly, every hotel should be so lucky to have a Nauval on their team.The property itself is lovely, peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for a relaxing getaway... but it’s the people who turn a stay into something truly memorable.We left grateful, refreshed, and already made plans to stay at the Katamaran Hotel & Resort Komodo next, excited to visit the Komodo dragons and looking forward to another wonderful experience.Thank you to the entire Katamaran team!!! and a heartfelt thank you to Nauval for making our stay feel so special.

Noise and disruption from renovations, however the staff kindly moved us to a room at the other end of the property that was farther away from the noise.

Luxurious, contemporary, beautiful resort right on the sea Fantastic morning buffetWonderful, sunset restaurant, Cliff, sushi and food. Amazing thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Food was amazing, staff were so friendly and accommodating. Views from pool and balcony were unforgettable. Loved everything about our stay.

Our rooms were lovely, a very comfortable size. We loved being on the second floor with a view of the pool and ocean. It gave us privacy but also an amazing view with sweet sound of the waves. The staff were extremely kind and helpful.

Very nice, big and clean rooms. Super friendly staff who make everything possible. Food was available all the time. Nice and clean pool area directly at the beach.

Could offer more „activities“ such as Billard, Night program etc.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The room was really comfortable and clean with a beautiful view of the ocean. I loved all of the swimming pools and the gym. The breakfast was delicious and the menu at the sail restaurant for dinner was very well priced for a resort. I look forward to returning

Just that the pool was filled all the time ?

The layout of the hotel is great because it's a large accommodation but it doesn't feel crowded. The two pools are beautiful and never packed. There are many good options at breakfast and the staff is always there to assist you. The private tours they provide are great and very flexible to your needs.

The restaurant lunch/ dinner menu and quality was very standard so we often went out to find other restaurants.

Family and kid friendly hotel. One pool was completely under shades; perfect for kids to spend whole day. Breakfast was very good, dinner menu was nice as well. Hotel staff assisted tours for Gili Islands.

Very clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent amenities.

The F&B staff were very friendly.

At checkout, the reception was unable to return our deposit because they couldn’t read the deposit slip & the office was closed . We were told that we had to wait 14days for the amount to be reversed. I’m still waiting for the credit card bill to check if this has been done.

Amazing beachfront location just outside of Sengiggi. You really don’t need to leave the resort for anything!There are two pools (one more family friendly) and large garden spaces separating areas so it never feels overcrowded.We booked a beachfront suite overlooking the ocean, sleeping to the sound of the waves is so peaceful. The room was spacious and modern with a huge bathroom.Food, staff and facilities are all exceptional.

We booked treatments at the spa, the staff were delightful, but a group of 4 guests came in whilst we were there and had really loud conversations, taking selfies and phone calls. This went on for the bulk of our treatment.I think the lovely staff were reluctant to ask those people to be more quiet or go outside, but their behavior was not in keeping with the ‘zen’ of a day spa!The music from the beach bar was often just a bit too loud for those looking to read or nap poolside.
