Origin Lombok

We stayed at the Origin already last year and now we returned for a whole month. For us it’s the best hotel in Kuta. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Anni is always ready to help and will go out of her way to make your stay better.

Before we were able to have breakfast from the À la cart menu and the manager changed that few days ago. That’s a bit disappointing. There are few things that need maintenance, like the hanging lights above the pool have been broken since few weeks but nobody is paying attention to it.

This was probably the most pleasant hotel stay of my life.The breakfast is absolutely amazing – they will prepare anything you want, exactly the way you like it. The whole team is incredibly kind and attentive; they constantly check in, asking how your day was and whether everything is okay, which makes you feel genuinely cared for.We are vegans, and every single dish could be prepared in a fully vegan version without any problem – that was truly impressive and very much appreciated.Despite being a fairly luxurious place, the atmosphere is very relaxed and easygoing. There was an amazing evening with live singing that created a wonderful vibe.The pools are fantastic, the rooms are beautiful, stylish, and extremely comfortable.Special thanks to Mady, who I played billiards with — he is an awesome guy: super helpful, kind, and at the same time very professional. Truly a great person to have on the team ?Highly recommended — we would come back without hesitation.

Great hotel, not noisy, lovely pool, friendly staff, excellent value overall. I would definitely stay here again.

There was nowhere to shower/change between check out and leaving for the airport. The spa/pool didn't have any facility which is fine but good to be aware.

I honestly loved my stay at Origin Lombok. Everything felt comfortable, clean, and well taken care of, and the whole place has a great vibe that makes you want to stay longer.What really made it special was the staff. Asdul, Vira, Roni, Ilham, and Dayu stood out so much — they were genuinely kind, helpful, and professional, and I had some great conversations with them that made the stay feel personal, not just “hotel service.”I’m definitely booking again the next time I’m in Lombok. For me, this is the best hotel I’ve been to here. Highly recommended.

Origin is a really beautiful property that has mastered how to create spacious intimacy whilst retaining development density. They have a pretty spectacular breakfast and have really welcoming staff. The room is spacious with a very generous patio / terrace, and tasteful interior design. The hotel also provided umbrellas for the rainy stay, which was enormously appreciated. They were good with communication, being flexible with changes, and providing updates and schedules of what's on.

The bathroom is quite poorly designed, especially given the quality of everything else. With no separation or even step between the shower and the toilet, the drainage and toilet use experience was quite wanting. The lights, switches, direction and control of the AC, plugs, and pillows, left a lot to be desired.

They have a sister hotel at Selong Belenak at the beach, which they can organize for you to stay in as well, price allowing. They have free welcome coffee for the first breakfast, and a free welcome drink when you first arrive.

They should've had more wellness amenities (e.g. jacuzzi, sauna, ice bath, etc.) as the amenities available were a pool table, a pool, and a massage spa.

Loved the pool, how cosy it was, the friendly staff, that on the menu card and at the breakfast buffet there were local dishes!

From the very first moment we arrived and were greeted with umbrellas during a storm, to the very end of our stay, we felt magical staying at Origin. The staff made our stay feel like heaven on earth. The accommodation, the pool, the breakfast are perfect. 10 out of 10, would stay here again, but for longer!

The layout of the hotel was beautiful, with a large pool in the center surrounded by the villas. We had the Robinson Crusoe style home and loved it. Breakfast was outstanding and so was dinner. Whoever that young person was who made our cocktails - they were excellent!

Everything was great. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially Ms Ani, who went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. The swimming pool was nice, and we had a pleasant massage as well.

The bathroom needs renovation.

Paradise! Absolutely amazing!! The stuff are super friendly and helpful, the place is delightful and the breakfast is the best we ever had on our trip. Really quiet place, perfect for relaxing but with cool activities too. The place is modern and comfortable. We ended uo extending out stay because we didn't want to leave!!!! Amd the massages are top10 in Indo!

Nothing, everything was perfect

we stayed for two nights. hotel accommodation was very spacious and clean. the hotel also helps us to arrange for bike rental and transportation to bangsal ferry terminal. They gave us 30minutes foot massage for FREE! Breakfast was very good ❤️❤️ we enjoyed our stay, the location is 10minutes to centre and 15 mins to tanjung aan/ meresa hills.

It was okay and basic, bit outdated. Pictures on the website show a brand new facility. Location is hard to reach. Would be nice if they offered a shuttle service to the beach/city. Not much choice/variety from the buffet.

The room did not look as advertised especially the toilet and shower area. In general, the hotel lacked cleanliness; stained bedsheet, smelly shower, hair on plate. Breakfast option was very minimal.

Loved the staff, the cleanliness of rooms and all the little extras (motorbike, extra towel, printing etc). Loved the food as well!

Really great location, stylish resort, not too big or too small. Beautiful landscaping and pool area. A very addictive spa (thank you Suni). Room was really nice and comfortable. Good breakfast and restaurant. But best of all were the staff. So friendly, helpful and attentive. Each member of staff takes the time to get to know you and greet you. Would love to have stayed longer.
