    Pros +

    • Fantastic beach front resort. Excellent food and amazing sunsets.
    • Lovely staff, lovely location and great facilities. Very good value for money.
    • The location is beautiful, the houses are good, the room looks well, it is not super new, but it is fine. It was clean inside and the bed was really comfortable, i had my best sleep there. The breakfast options were basic, but the restraunt is right in front of the ocean, it is stunning. the view on the beach was gorgeous. very calm area. There is a wildlife park nearby and the port from where you can go to visit gili islands. Great for 2 nights stay.

    Cons -

    • It would have been nicer to be closer to Senggigi. A little bit isolated.
    • There were bugs and insects here and there. The bathroom is open and insects keeps on coming and flying around. I really didn't like this open bathroom system. Also people are working outside so you cannot keep the curtains away if you are staying in groundfloor room like i got.
    • Not sure if the reviews are inflated, but we felt very duped after 10 minutes of getting to the hotel. We noticed that no guests had smiles on their faces and were wondering why things felt so sad. Not sure if it was just our room (and totally understand that mosquitoes are part and parcel of where we were visiting), but we spent about an hour trying to kill all the mosquitoes in our room the first night. One of the two pillows we got stunk of sweat and made us feel like the bed had not been cleaned. We were quite miserable during our stay and ended up planning a full day around a different resort (which was amazing). Lesson learned - fork out a little more money for comfort and happiness next time.

The place was awesome, the staff really nice and kind. Really close to the beach and good location.

The setting was fantastic and so was the pool which was located by the beach. The BBQ was excellent. The breakfast could have been better. There were very little choices

Although the setting was beautiful and the grounds were very well kept, the villa(s) themselves were not. They were not well maintained. It needed a major facelift.

Good beachfront location, friendly staff and nice rooms.

Only one dining option, closing early in the evening.

    Campus, staff, spa.

Open-air bathroom, bugs and lizards in the room.

The best time! Staff go above and beyond. Really appreciated the decorations and birthday cake. They even brought it out and sang to me in the restaurant! Staff are so lovely and friendly. The spa was amazing, such great value and range of options. Bed was the comfiest ever, and the sunset was out of this world! Sunbeds are so comfy too and we loved the relaxed vibe

Large, comfortable room with a large balcony, which had a good view of the pool and ocean. Beautiful, immaculate gardens throughout the property, and clearly lovingly cared for by the resort gardeners on a daily basis. The pool overlooking the ocean was big and a nice, chilled area to hang out. The staff are all excellent and very attentive. All the food we had at this hotel was tasty and nice drinks too. We arranged a trip with the hotel to see the Secret Gili islands and had our own private driver and boat for the day, running with a schedule to suit us, so that was great. Both the driver (Fadli) and the boat captain were excellent. Our driver came on the boat and helped out, gave advice and suggestions. Our boat captain came snorkeling with us and took some great GoPro videos for us.

The hotel was great, but there are some things thay could be improved: Would have been good to have refillable water available for guests - you get 2 smaller bottles per day, meaning that you have to purchase mineral water whilst there, as it's hot and you get thirsty. The next point is likely due to the style of the shower (large stones round the sides making it harder to clean), but there was a lot of long dark hair collected where the shower drains from previous guests. During our trip to the Secret Gilis, our driver had been advised to take us to a Sokong Weaving village first (which we hadn't known about in advance). If you book this trip, make sure to instruct them not to take you to the weaving village - it's a tourist trap - you don't pay an entrance fee and then end up being put in a very awkward situation where you are taken round the village, lot of sales tactics are used throughout to try and flatter you and get you involved in the weaving - both of which we resisted, and then they take you to their sales area and try to guilt you into spending phenomenal amounts on small pieces of material. It's beautiful handmade weaving, and the process takes a long time, we appreciate that, but we did not want or need to buy any fabric and would not have chosen to go to the weaving village, precisely to avoid awkward situations like this.

Pool and beach are both really nice.

The bar area feels run down. There are many better resorts for the same price. Rooms are spacious but no mosquito nets and very soft mattresses makes for a rough sleep.

Living Asia is an amazing resort, in the middle of nature and peaceful! If you are a swimmer like me, the swimming pool was amazing! And the view of breakfast and the breakfast is so.good! We loved all the moments in this place. Thanks for everything!

Our stay there was just what we required, very friendly and helpful staff, a restaurant next to the beach looking towards Bali, a swimming pool, trips we could book on site, with a very good driver provided at a reasonable cost, the room sizes were good too. When I ordered a Grab taxi, I found our driver was based at the resort so was available straight away. My only issue was the pillows were too soft, but a minor issue.

Room was to totally different to the booking upgrade given on Booking.com, room not ready we even more than 1 hour after check in time, then we had to change rooms , no hot water !! Place looks tired and need of refurb

No hot water room not as described

Beautiful setting, spacious tidy grounds, large pool, beautiful rooms, restaurant and snackbar close and ready. What made our stay so enjoyable and special was the entire staff. They were so kind and genuine. Always looking to make our experience better and nicer. Conversations with the people who worked at Living Asia were two way conversations as we learned something about them and they were curious about us and where we came from. It was a very special moment when one of the staff very proudly shared family photos with us! This was our second stay at Living Asia and recommend it highly

We really liked it all including the beautiful ocean view and the sunsets. One area that might need attention is the pool deck but I’m sure that will be taken care of.

    Swimming pool

Room was smell mouldy, pillow cover don't look like clean and fresh

    8JasminePosted on: 2-26-2025

Beautiful setting, the restaurant is located right next to the pool and beach. Staff were lovely and outdoor shower is great.

The pool really needs the tiles redoing as well as the wood platform around the pool. A lot of tiles loose in the water and the platform around the pool had a lot of damage and needs fixing. A lot of staining on the toilets, seats need replacing. I guess this is largely to do with the design of some of the bathrooms.

    10MartinPosted on: 1-18-2025

Beautiful location, very quiet, clean and well looked after. Staff quite helpful. Quite busy even in quiet season. Close enough to Bangsal harbour which gives easy access to Bali and the Gili Islands.

Booking trips an issue but with experience should have sorted out scooter or carBeautiful semi outdoor bathroom.... but no water pressure.
