    Pros +

    • Absolutely incredible. Relaxing and quiet, beautiful ocean/sunset views. It was $1.50 USD or less for a taxi to Senggigi, which we visited often. We were able to arrange a scuba diving day to the Gilis, had a fantastic aloe/cuc wrap. Great Staff!
    • excellent staff very friendly and helpful.
    • Everything was amazing from our arrival and nice staff to vilas, pool, morning yoga, breakfast and location of the villas. It was a paradise and we are dreaming about coming back.

    Cons -

    • We were right next to the construction on the north side of the resort, so there was some noise. But I didn't hate it. Also the food and drink was very expensive for Lombok standards ($15 was normal for a martini), but it was very high quality.
    • Nothing, all perfect
    • Unfortunately, the snorkel tour this time was overshadowed by having to swim through trash carried out by river runoff. It’s less a criticism of the hotel and more a sad reminder of the impact tourism and environmental strain are having on this beautiful island.

Absolutely excellent! I have no words. This is not a place to work—you’ll forget everything and simply enjoy the breathtaking views, outstanding service, and delicious food. A perfect 10/10 stay!

What an absolutely stunning resort! Everything about this place feels truly 5-star. The breakfast was simply wow — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The room and bathroom were spotless, elegant, and full of premium touches. Every detail showed class and comfort. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious experience.

I returned to this hotel after 16 years—a place I’d often daydreamed about during my busiest and most stressful moments. Now, coming back after so many years, I was amazed to find it not only just as I remembered, but even better (though a bit more crowded). It’s rare to revisit a hotel after so long and have it exceed your memories.

Unfortunately, the snorkel tour this time was overshadowed by having to swim through trash carried out by river runoff. It’s less a criticism of the hotel and more a sad reminder of the impact tourism and environmental strain are having on this beautiful island.

I have stayed here for a week. And was extremely sad once i moved after to my next resorts close by. This place has everything. Spa - you have some packages that is good valueFood- you have 3 restaurants. Can also order in room via app. Don’t even need to lift a finger. Breakfast variety is amazing. Every single dish was perfect. If you need something they will accommodate. Rooms- cleaned daily. Loads of sealed water bottles. Coffee in sachets. Which i loved. Didnt need to use some jar that has been used by god knows how many people. They do insect smoking, mon and thurs. I didnt have a single bug bite.3 swimming pools. 1 of then is adults only. All good size. Sunbeds- many available. Dont need to fight. Very comfortable. + some cabana style options.Service was great. You can see owner has great attention to detail and everything is thought out. They also have many activations for dinners, special menus etc. All information available on their app. All is not cheap, but worth the money. After my experience in Lombok, I would stay only here. It was very relaxing, quality stay.

Just suggestions:Spa- for manicure should be more colour for polish. Many colors for older people. No neutrals or classy options.Massage- its great. But if you want something specific might be difficult. I had 3 massages each different, to get knots from my shoulders. They do them by the book. Not improvising, so cant adjust. So that was annoying. Pricing - it’s hard sometimes to count pricing. I would have it including taxes, and in local currency and dollars.Italian restaurant- cocktails were very bad. Nothing to compare to Asian restaurant. Also chili oil, not chili at all. More like colored oil. Softer style slippers would be nice. Small store- I really loved the Robe. Wanted to buy it. Even the one I was using it. They didn’t sell. There should be small section for goodies to buy. Tour - I took one tour. Didn’t like it much. Also gear provided was not of the quality. Generally I felt tour was more of someone random street tour. I didn’t enjoy it much. And regretted it. Didn’t match the property quality. So ask many questions and make sure you clear what you want. More hangers in wardrobe would be nice. Tips:Dont be stressed with beach vendors, just ignore them. They are going through all resorts.Dont be shy in asking for smooth bedding. Some sheets are super soft, while some are not. Voice any issues. They are very professional and accommodating.

As a 61 year woman travelling alone for the first time and never visited Lombok before, I felt very safe at Qunci Villas. The staff were very attentive and caring. The facilities were kept immaculate and the restaurants were amazing, catering for all food preferences. I booked a day tour via Qunci Villas. My driver/guide Opan was amazing. He was kind and patient and explained many points of interest along the way. I never felt rushed or anxious and completely safe with Opan and enjoyed the most memorable day.

I have no complaints about my stay with Qunci

The bed and pillow are so comfortable, the staffs are the gem and spirit of the hotel, front desk was just normal, but pool side and restaurant waiters are just so heart warming, please give them a raise for their professionalism and hard working

The bathroom way smaller than I expected, wardrobe and fridge fitting inside the bathroom was too tight, and unlike the pictures shown on the website it’s a tiny indoor bathroom

    Staff very friendly and accommodating.

This was our forth stay over a 14 year time period. Property is well maintained but has not been upgraded since opening. Certain areas are looking dated and needing refurbishing. Extra staff around the pool area at sunset time would also be helpful when wanting to order drinks.

    7RachelPosted on: 8-13-2025

Food was amazing and staff very friendly. Nice pools on beach with great sunset views.

Quite basic in terms of rooms (would say it’s more 4 star hotel) and gym had pretty much no equipment in it). Also don’t like being bothered by hawkers which are allowed onto very front strip of hotel in front of pool.

We loved everything. The location was just outside of sengiggi and in the middle of great beaches and close to the city but nice and quiet. The beachfront was beautiful and the pools and lounge areas were peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Our villa and surrounding resort area was very clean and well landscaped and the attention to details made our stay comfortable and luxurious. The spa and spa services was very nice. The staff was the best part about this place. They were so friendly and helpful and did everything they possibly could to make our stay a great one. There were 3 restaurants and we had a great experience at all of them. The food was fresh and delicious along with the breakfast which was included and had lots of choices. They offers great themed evenings including traditional Balinese dance and Indonesian food night that was authentic and beautifully presented. We woolsRecommend this place again and again.

    We loved everything.

Beautiful ocean view villas, gardens very well kept, surf lessons on beach in front of villa

Qunci Villas is a very attractive property. The food was reasonably good, the drinks were great. Happy hour from 5p-7p was nice (and they were a little flexible on the timing which I appreciated). The breakfast bowl (I forget the exact name) was absolutely delicious. The staff are great, very friendly, and proficient. There are lovely art pieces placed around the property and it feels well curated.

I was not happy with my actual villa. For a 5 star resort, I expect things to be clean, well maintained, and frankly, pristine. My villa was anything but. There was a loose rubber seal coming away from a huge glass windos, a cracked window, dirty windows, stained terrazzo floors, stained cushions (both inside & outside the villa), shockingly bad lighting in the bathroom, a large crack in the sink and vanity, and a truly depressing outdoor shower with a dirty shower head. Granted I had just come from the Oberoi Resort which was nearly flawless. However, the Oberoi Resort and the Qunci Resort are similarly rated and similarly priced, but the contrast between the two resorts is acute. Other Qunci villas might be in better condition.Management received my feedback about the villa well and thanked me for it. I feel like they know the place needs work they just need a little impetus (and likely, the funds) to do it.

Food, service and outside facilities were excellent

The room itself was very old and outdated. Very bad smell in room. Ac did not work well

    10BradPosted on: 5-4-2025

This was one of the most gorgeous resort spaces we’ve ever stayed. Prices were quite reasonable and without exception, the staff was pleasant, thoughtful, accommodating and helpful. The view from our room overlooked the pool and out to the ocean. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience overall.

Everything! We enjoyed every day here. Food, facilities, service, staff-everything was very good! Swimming from the beach, nice 3swimming pools, comfortable sun beds.

    10DaniellePosted on: 4-24-2025

Location was amazing and it has beautiful pools !

The gym is a bit out dated and for a family of 5 we found the food expensive some better deals especially for kids meals would have been nice

    8MichaelPosted on: 4-13-2025

Brilliant resort, no questions asked. We moved rooms on the first morning because of noise from the mosque, school and road, no issues, no grumbles, the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The pools are fantastic, you have one no smoking area pool, one main pool and one adults only pool, the views are awesome, and the food is really good (a little expensive), but breakfast included is amazing, there are soooo many choices. There is a different themed food night every night. We did the beach side BBQ, and it was brilliant. The location is ok. However, there is not much to do in Sengiggi. You can easily use it as a base to explore the north or the Gilli islands (we did). Happy Cafe in Sengiggi is deffo worth a visit. One negative was the state of our mattress in our second room. I showed the staff photos on checkout, and they seemed genuinely shocked and said they would report to management, I hope that they did as it was in desperate need of changing.

Nothing that I can complain about, food is good, accommodation is good, staff is always there to help or advise. In general you don’t need to go anywhere while there
