Pros +
- The resort's private beach is stunningly beautiful and great for playing in the strong waves.Other than the sound of the waves and insects in the trees, it's dead silent 24/7.The room is very spacious with an expansive view to the sea and a large patio area overlooking the beach.A short hike over the rocks takes you to the next beach with is also stunningly beautiful, and a longer hike takes you to Beloam hill will its unusual rock formations and natural bridge. The air conditioning system worked really well and was fairly quiet. During the day, it's not needed because there is always a fresh and cool breeze from the sea that flows through when the bungalow's doors are opened.
- We stayed at Jeeva Beloam Beachcamp for two nights in April this year. This place is totally amazing. The accommodation and ocean outlook are fabulous. The dining area is lovely and the food mostly quite good, but expensive for what was on offer. The portions were on the small side plus there were some items listed on the menu that were not available when we tried to order them). Restaurant hours are restricted, so we recommend bringing some snacks to keep in your room. The reception managers Lee and Pino were professional, warm, helpful – nothing was too much trouble for them. They gave us the reception WhatsApp contact, so we were able to request cold beer or a pot of tea via reception when the restaurant was closed. The Jeeva Beloam staff make a good effort to clear the beach of the rubbish which is deposited at high tide, making the beach beautiful to hang out on in between delightful swims. One of the highlights of being down the beach was seeing the tracks in the sand left by transiting monkeys.
- Hospitality, remote place with peaceful surroundings
Cons -
- I was never able to get any hot water from the shower. Not that it mattered much, as the water isn't really cold. The water in the toilet kept running after flushing, requiring some deft pressing of the button to stop it.Due to the remote location, it's not practical to eat outside the resort or go to a proper convenience store, and the nearest ones are at least 30 minutes away by scooter.
- We booked via Booking.com because we were booking many accommodations for this trip and it was easier to manage the bookings via one portal. We typically find that Booking.com rates are similar to the direct book rates (if not a little better) but in that case of Jeeva Beloam the rate charged via Booking.com was more than double the direct book rate (we found this out whilst staying at Jeeva Beloam). We did think it was expensive when we booked but foolishly trusted that the Booking.com rate was close to the direct book rate. We thought it was probably expensive due to the remoteness, plus we looked at the Jeeva Beloam website to find out information about the property and saw in the “Dining” section of their website:- "Due to the isolated nature of the camp, lodging at Jeeva Beloam Camp is all-inclusive with accommodation including all meals, coffee, hot tea and iced tea, juice, lemonade, fruit punch and water. Soda and alcoholic beverages are charged separately", so we thought this explained why. We told them this was misleading; they have since modified the website to reflect the truth. We have had a series of communications with Jeeva Beloam to try get clarity on the high charge. We were eventually offered a voucher for 2-night stay to compensate for the overcharge issue, which we accepted. We plan to stay some additional nights enjoying relaxing at this amazing place.I just did a test booking for a 2-night stay April 2026 (similar dates to our recent stay). These are the results:Booking.com: IDR 8,399,998 (AUD 794)Direct Book: IDR 4,180,000 (AUD 396)Agoda: IDR 4,325,908 (AUD408)The price difference between Booking.com vs booking direct or using another booking portal (Agoda) is significant and it feels very much like a scam. It’s not clear who is profiting off this, but someone is!Please learn from our experience and don’t just trust that you are getting a better or similar price by booking via Booking.com - BOOK DIRECT
- The access path offers awkward looks directly into bedroom - bad design in this senseIn the rooms there should be a booklet of all the information and restaurants menus.

Hospitality, remote place with peaceful surroundings
The access path offers awkward looks directly into bedroom - bad design in this senseIn the rooms there should be a booklet of all the information and restaurants menus.
Idyllic location, private beach with beautiful surroundings. Room was beautiful and bed was comfortable. It was quiet and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff were sincere and kind, we especially like chatting with Norris:)
Food was over priced and the quality didn’t match the price. We arrived in the afternoon not having eaten and were starving, planning to get something when we arrived with some friends. We were informed the restaurant would not open till 7.30 pm. I think it’s important the property mentioned this to people before travelling there.
One of the best places I ever saw. Beautiful and quite with a private beach. It seems like you are on an private Irland fare away from everything. The rooms are luxury and nothing is missing. I will be back..
The view, the beach and the privacy
The location is too far, no coverage and mosquito.
The cabins are magic and the beach idyllic. Quiet and pure. Great staff making all the difference.
I suggest guests pack their own variety of snacks as the place is very isolating (in the best way possible).
Incredible never staying in anything like this before - beach right out the front.
The food I felt could have been better but your in a remote area so I couldn’t stay longer because of the food being very simple and not allot of flavour.
Amazing location, directly on the beach with an unhindered view of the sea. Everyone has a house, with a big bedroom and a big bathroom. Dinner and breakfast in a separate building, also with a view. THE absolute best thing about this place is that it’s just 11 villas and no one else.
Nothing. It’s good for people who expect five star city style that some things are different here. There is WiFi (new) but not strong. So don’t expect it in your room. The location is so isolated and quiet that there is no regular electricity but a generator and solar. So electricity is turned off a few hours every day. The restaurant has a small menu, good, with wine, but don’t expect five star dining. Overall, this is an amazing nature experience with peace and quiet.
Private beach, facilities in the house, nice staff, pretty good food.
No water, no power, no internet in the morning. A lot of trash at the beautiful beach. The management needs to be improved. For example, they should either set up an automatic indicator or let staff to keep checking the water level so that they fill water into the tank before the water totally runs out.
Stunning location! Secluded and tucked away in a beautiful corner of Lombok. The villas are so beautiful - simple island living at its best. Lee and Jalal were supernice hosts and cared for all our needs :)
The fireplace on the beach wasn’t working and the SPA is redundant…. Would be nice to have both working again
The secluded location close to nature.Beautiful location right at the sea. Fantastic view.Quiet, the feeling of being off the grid.Part of that was because of the fact that electricity and WiFi isn’t available at all times. This is rare these days and we loved it!Food was very delicious and staff very sweet and caring.Very peaceful and zen.
Unfortunately, the beach gets a lot of plastic from the ocean, like many other beaches in Indonesia. The JEEVA team works very hard to keep the beach clean but it’s very hard since people in Indonesia and around the world keep throwing their trash into the water. Most plastic that you see at the beaches around Indonesia comes from western brands such as Unilever, Danone, Colgate, P&G and comparable Indonesian big companies).
This resort was out of this world! When we came it was new years eve, the resort made a special intimate new year celebration for the guest with the staffs and invited some locals to perform! There were dancing, drinks, fireworks - an unforgettable experience. We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. They even arranged a driver to send us back to the airport on our last day and gave us one last stroll in town. Ofcourse, there wasn’t any connection but we were briefed well by the staffs and we knew from the past reviews. Great place to unplug and disconnect!
LIKED? Villas in the middle of nature with a beautiful view and private beach, but you can't swim because of strong currents.? Beautiful and quiet location, electricity and wifi are available only in certain hours, ideal for accommodation for 1 max 2 nights? A few activities offered by accommodation.? As a bonus are monkey:-)
DISLIKED ? Wifi is availaible for an additional charge 2 eur/day and you can have maximum two devices. Due to the price of accommodation, wifi could be included.? There is a restaurant, but the food and drinks are really expensive and the food is nothing special.? The cottage is basic and simple and would require reconstruction as well as the rest of the area.? It was difficult to get service in the restaurant during the day, mostly we had to go to the reception.? Reception accommodation presents as a camp, but the price for accommodation and food is quite high and certainly does not correspond to quality. ? Staff is friendly, but seem lost and are not managed.
We got the best cottage with the most perfect view of the sunrise, just awesome!Since it's a private beach, you're almost alone, which we loved..I can only recommend it if you're looking for complete relaxation.
The location, rooms and staff were great
The food was horrible and over priced for what it was
Amazing bungalow beach front. Perfect for 1-2 days to unplug from the real world. The monkeys literally come at your door in the morning.
The beach is full of plastic brought by the sea, not the resort fault but it is still such a shame for a place like this.
The location is very special and truly a gem
Absolute lack of overall management of property and staff. Delivery of good guest experience really an issue here. Few examples: No coffee in the room, lunch / dinner menu very limited, not changing and quality truly disappointing, no electricity and WiFi majority of the day,…. It is all about the location, but not convenient to stay. Staff doing their upmost best / super friendly, but seem lost and are not managed.
Unbelievably beautiful accommodation and beautiful beach
Not much selection of beverages and not much of vegetarian or vegan options
(+) The scenery was surreal; beautiful beach, soft sand, magnificent sunrise, breathtaking stars & milky way(+) dinner and breakfast were good(+) using solar panel
(-) access from main gate to reception was really bad, coarse road. They should have mentioned to avoid driving city cars. However, actually overall access (from village's portal) to the hotel was significantly better than years ago.(-) we checked out when the electricity generator was off, so it was hard to get signal for edc machine to pay with card. They should have mention earlier to prepare some cash or make payment during the electricity was on.(-) this is personal, but I was a little bit scared to hear the sound of the waves at night. And don't forget to bring jackets as it got very windy in the afternoon and at night.
