Salili Bungalow

Very friendly team!

We expected (as shown in the photos) to have the bungalow on the beach. This is not the case. There is a small footpath in between.

The service was phenomenal, place looked just like the pictures and it was so clean.

Mosquitos ate me up

Great location, best in the island in my opinion. Beautiful sunsets and nice dinner restos! Breakfast is simple but tasty. Rooms were spacious, good bathrooms and comfortable bed. Staff is super friendly and can facilitate tours, bikes and any kind of help needed really :) special thanks to Bruno!

I stayed a week at Salili bungalow, everything was good. My room was very basic, but everything worked well, the air conditioning, the fridge and the save. The room is missing a mirror!! Breakfast was very good, plentiful and served on the beach. The manager was a very friendly young gentleman who helped with everything we asked him. I will come back to Salili, I loved it. It's a little paradise

This place was clean, comfortable and lovely location. Great value for money. AC worked great. Staff helped arrange travel to Lombok. Also I will miss my 2 kitties that hang around the property (Henry & Hank) I called them. Very much enjoyed our stay there.

Gili Air island is small enough to walk around, so it is not a problem, but the sea level at the beach of Salili bungalow is very low, not suitable for swimming. If there is no cloud in the sky in the evening, a beautiful sunset view can be formed. There is a perfect price-performance balance. The rooms are old and if you are not very picky, you can think of them as clean. Don't pay extra for a room with a sea view for nothing. You will see people walking on the beach, not the view, and you will not have a private area. Garden bungalows are more beautiful and affordable. The staff is very friendly and try to help. Don't expect anything from the restaurant because it is only open for breakfast and you can find fruit, pancakes and honey.

Very nice place to stay, a few meter from the beach, good place for snorkeling and watching the sunset.AC in the rooms with mosquito net around the bed. Great service and friendly people.They have bicycles and snorkeling gear for rent.

The resort is right on the beach, with the restaurants around and the dive center. The villas are nice and have everything we needed for our 4 nights stay. The swimming pool is deep and the breakfast is tasty. The staff can arrange the trips, transportation and whatever is needed for our pleasant stay at Gili Air.

Lovely setting and gardens,great little bungalow with fab bathroom,very comfortable bed,very clean. Loved the sound of the wildlife and the sea, otherwise great quiet location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Next to several restaurants by the sea which was cool - hired bikes from them which was a great way to get around the island and think in general we lucked out on location and accommodation!

Not really a negative but the restaurant only served breakfast which was limited but plenty of choice elsewhere so not really a problem as such.

The property is in an amazing location, about 5-10 min cycle to the main port, perfect for exploring everything Gili A has to offer! The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, providing a really comfortable space to relax. The WiFi was excellent, which made staying connected super easy. While the food was decent, the overall experience was fantastic, and I’d definitely recommend this place for a great stay in Gili A! Loved it so much that we extended our stay

Bit of a walk from ferry depending on your luggage type.. backpacking fine, suitcases- suggest grab a horse and cart

Location right on the beach, and also has a lovely pool. Love the outdoor shower!

The staff were slow to respond to queries, and didn't always give the correct information. Breakfast was basic, but alright if included in the room rate. About as far from the jetty as you can get.

Great spot right on the beach. We had a beach bungalow and it was very simple but fine. You will need a horse and cart to get there with luggage. You can support 'Horses of Gilli' who provide free vet care and support, look them up.

The room had AC, but not well insulated, so was still quite hot to be in there during the day. not really a problem as they have lovely huts on the beach you can use all day and so many restaurants and bars to drive around to.

Location was beautiful, very peaceful. Bungalow rooms were large and clean and the outdoor bathroom was really nice. Great sunset location and easy 20 min walk into town. Accomodation was helpful in booking a snorkelling tour and bikes were available for rent. Pool was clean and water was cool and refreshing. The restaurant next door was excellent, huge variety and service was great, they would bring drinks to you on the beach if you asked.

The property is correctly rated and as such you pay for what you get. I had booked the waterfront bungalow however the air con was not working so I requested a room change. Thankfully there was another room available. In our new room the toilet seat was broken and despite 5 requests from both myself and husband it was never fixed during our stay. Bath towels are probs due for replacement but this is a minor detail. FYI rooms are not serviced on a daily basis.

The staff were always around, friendly, and helpful.When our aircon stopped working, they organised for us to change rooms.

It was more rustic than expected. Aircon struggled in the afternoon heat.

Room 8 was not quiet as there was a water pump outside the room which made awful noise.So we ask to move to another room 5 which was done very nicely.Pool a bit small and had a lot of chlorine in it.
