Kaluku Gili Resort

My daughter and I spent 3 nights at this resort and generally enjoyed the experience. I stayed in a bungalow up front, #3, and she in one by the pool. They were roomy and well-appointed. The A/C worked and the internet was sufficient enough for us to watch some movies. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The snorkeling right in front of the resort is fantastic. I went out every day and saw sea turtles each time. The water was surprisingly clean of plastic in comparison to the west side of Gili Meno and no swarms of jelly dish either. There’s no need to take a boat, as the good snorkeling can be found just a few hundred feet off the beach. So, overall a fantastic nature experience.

The only aspect that did not delight us was the restaurant. They don’t have an espresso maker so we went next door for our morning fix. I don’t eat breakfast, but my daughter does and didn’t care much for the breakfast that was included in the stay. There are plenty of other dinning options just steps away, so, this wasn’t a big issue. The pool is small and rather warm. Also, we had so gotten used to salt water pools when staying on Gili Meno for 6 nights prior that we missed that aspect here.

This hotel has very friendly and helpful staff. The pool was great and breakfast on the beach was lovely. At a great location on the island.

Nice location , nice room friendly staff.

The room had a terrible humidity smell covered with a room perfume in the ac. It could be cheaper compering the market.

My room safe had a broken button which happened to be a number in the code I always use.

The staff were great. They made the difference. The location on the beach was terrific. The in house restaurant was good. The room quite large comfortable. The A/C was good.

Well having the bathroom outside the A/C area was strange and odd. Although the area is enclosed it was hot just like the rest of Gili Air. The area to put your clothes is also outside the main area, strange.The TV was not good and did not work half the time. Trouble also with the internet.The location was a long way from the port but that was forgotten once you snorkeled directly from the hotel beach area.

Friendly and efficient staff. Beautiful premises with lots of flowering plants. Right on the beach. Quiet.

Perfect place to stay on Gili Air. Great location with lots of bars and restaurants close by. The resort has a nice little beach too where, if you’re lucky, you’ll get to see turtles. The grounds are very well cared for and the rooms are cleaned beautifully each day. The staff are very attentive and kind

It is a difficult 20 minute walk from the ferry with a large rolling bag. The wheels lock up in the deep sand on the path. I’d recommend drop off by horse cart when dealing with large bags.

We loved the room. Stayed in a bungalow so comfortable and amazing cleaning service. The staff were so welcoming and sweet.

The beach and restaurant need some love. The furniture is looking tired and dirty it does not make you want to spend the day there.

Stylish resort located in front of the best coral reefs on Gili Air. You can snorkel off the beach and see a variety of fish, coral and turtles. Staff were outstanding, genuinely wanting you to enjoy yourself and going out of their way to ensure you do. Very relaxed, good facilities and a tasty breakfast. The spa was great and I enjoyed a few good massages in my short stay. The resort was clean and the air conditioning worked very well. I would not hesitate in recommending a stay at Kaluku Gili Resort.

Beautifully located on Gili Air's sunrise side. The garden is even nicer than on the pictures! The room is very tidy, Airco working perfect, and the shower/toilet outside gives it a taste of adventure. Extremely kind, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast on the beach. Bikes and laundry service available. Very recommandable. We loved it and we will definitely be back!

Very well behaved and helpful staff. Just few steps from the beach. After check out the hotel staff informed me that they found my expensive binoculars in the room. I requested them to send in my next destination hotel in another nearby island. They sent me immediately through a captain of a boat with proper packing. I am really great full to them.

The bungalow where we stayed is bit dark inside. I think it would be better if keep bright lights in the room. The size of the room also bit small.

Private beach, clean and warm pool, direct access to speed boat, good food, bike rental, helpful staff.

Not easy to communicate on arrival, no one picked up the call.

The staff was super amazing and so the service. The hotel is located beach front and restaurant/breakfast area is at the beach. Complementary drinks and snacks were restocked every day. Beds were comfortable and room was very cozy. Hotel also offers snorkeling tours (very good prices), snorkeling equipment, spa, bikes and restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay. There is a coral reef just in the hotel beach which is really great for snorkeling.

The hotel is really good for the price, the free massage is amazing and the breakfast is good. The only bad thing is the restaurant service, they are too slow and they make lots of mistakes, good attitude to solve it tho.

The staff were exceptional and the location amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the aircon was great. Loved the outdoor bathroom and the snorkeling straight off the beach was awesome

Lovely accomodation. Stayed in Seaview bungalow. Fantastic location with snorkelling off the resort beach. Staff were lovely. Great massages.

Only thing missing was no cocktails on the menu. Water pressure in shower adequate but poor. Although I did not mention this so may have been able to be rectified.

The staff were the highlight of our stay - exceptionally helpful, attentive, gentle, positive and always with a smile. Thank you! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was great.
