Vila Ombak Hotel

Staff were brilliant (with exception of one staff member). They were friendly, warm and genuinely keen for us to enjoy our stay. Room was certainly sufficient given price paid and easily 4 star standard. It was spacious, light and homely.

Restaurant not great.

The location is very good.

The main pool area was closed for construction. The hotel did not bother to tell us this prior to our stay, as we would have cancelled. The staff were very unfriendly, and the bikes were terrible. Cleaners did an average job (did not clean the toilet)

It was our second stay after 7 years, it is the same quality and they keep going on very high quality. Clean and friendly staff. Beautiful and green design and garden

Everything ok, and we will come back, but it's a minor comment that It is better to have a coffee machine on the breakfast table, including buffet breakfast

I really loved it at Villa Ombak, everything was perfectly taken care of and clean, the location was perfect and staff was super nice. I dont have any constructive feedback!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the hotel room, and the AC worked amazingly. Quiet, did not hear any of the mosque speakers. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were nice. Breakfast was great. Pool and pool bar was fabulous. Great location, 8 min walk from port. Would highly recommend.

Great pool, location and the grounds are meticulous!

Nothing - it was all great! Maybe the breakfast was not the best or value for money ($15 each for my young son and me)

The pool was nice

Overpriced for everything don’t hire the snorkeling or ferry with them everything was tagged with a big surplus. The bedroom was very bad. The mattress you could feel the metallic frame and I am small person. The bedroom didn’t have outlets only in the bathroom. The bathroom smelled awful like sewage. I supposed to have a second floor they put me in the first floor. I wish to get a refund honestly one the worst hotels for the price. I stayed in amazing hotels in other locations for 1/3 of the price. I generally very chill and not picky. This was a bad experience for me. Also the room was not ready at the check in time.

From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and got a free upgrade to the private pool villas which is super worth it - wowGreat pool, wonderful breakfast, incredible staff and so hospitable! On the beach, fireworks at night, right next to everything you need

The hotel pool and room pool were both amazing. Breakfast was great and the location is perfect. It's in a quiet place but really close to the most lively part of the island, only a few minutes walk from the island's harbor. The staff is super nice and you can go deep in the hotel with your electric scooter to park it at your apartment, since the hotel is kinda big.

The grounds were very beautiful, and it was relatively quiet, considering how close it was to the main strip. The noise came from the other hotel guest.

The property was a bit dated and not as clean as I like. I would say it was clean enough, but not super clean.

The hotel is located 9min walk from the harbour, has a nice pool just in front of the beach. The breakfast is good and the clinic is top notch.

The receptionist staff was rude at a point we had to stop talking to him. The bathrooms had large pile of black sand next to the bath, staff said it was a design but it looked like incomplete. The boats used for trips are very old even though asking for higher price

Although the room is a bit old but it’s clean - the housekeeping staffs are very kind and helpful. The hotel is right in front of the beach, easy access to the Gili Trawangan harbor (10 min walk or ride the horse cart).

I like the fact that they have 2 pools - the one in the front for everyone, another one in the middle of the hotel for adults only, but no one attends this 2nd pool so most days it’s dirty.

The receptionist wasn’t nice and professional with another couple who had a problem ( I heard them saying that they booked twice by mistake but the employee literally said i dont care that is not my problem deal with it with an attitude)

Location was only 100m from the port and at the quieter end of the main strip. We got a free upgrade to our room. Breakfast was all you can eat buffet and the two pools were both beautiful.

The stairs down to our outside bathroom are treacherous with no handrail. We aren’t old but found this not a good idea, especially at night.

Pool area is great beds are comfortable rooms are looking a bit tired but nice enough

Location was perfect. Staff were amazing. Always so willing to assist and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Had the most wonderful time staying here.

I have just finished a 7 night stay at Ombak Villa Hotel.Everything was great from the breakfast in the mornings, the grounds and the pools etc. Literally all of the staff were great, with a special shout out to Ivan who was very friendly everyday and helped me out in multiple ways.Ivan was always willing to offer advice and help me and I believe he is a real asset to this company

We really enjoyed our stay at Vila Ombak, and loved our room- especially the outdoor bathroom! The breakfast had lots of variety, cocktails were good, easy to hire scooter and local to the main strip for restaurants and bars. The only thing I would recommend for improvement would be colder AC during the day , as it wasn’t cold enough for me - mainly due to the hot weather outside which is out of their control, however maybe a fan to help push the air around the room would be great. At night the AC is great! I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to be local to the main attractions however not fully involved

Location was perfect Close to the port especially if you are not wanting to use the horse carriages as we didn’t.

There was building worms going on behind our room. Which I know sometimes can’t be helped but a heads up would have been nice.

Location and the pool and the hotel looked really nice

2nd room we had smelt mouldy so did the air coming from the aircon and aircon was not cold making the room more humid than outside we ask after checking for engineer and again at 7pm no one came so had to sleep with the door open with mosquitoes. Complained in the morning they offered no compensation as we couldn't sleep at all so we moved hotel
