Pine Tree Motel

No one bothered to attend to the room properly while we were out. The rubbish bins were emptied but the beds weren't made up nor tidied. Only two tea bags were provided, and given we'd used both overnight, only two more were supplied. We were disappointed with the service

The inclusive breakfast was fantastic. So much food on offer - a choice of different cereals, cooked breakfast buffet, toast & croissants, jams & honey, yoghurts & tinned fruit, a variety of fruit juices, REAL coffee from the coffee machine and the percolator... if you left the motel hungry, you only had yourself to blame.

Having a microwave, plates, and cutlery in the room would have been great as the dining room closed at a certain time, and if you didn't get there in time, you would miss out. Having to walk up the staircase from the car was an effort, especially with knee injuries, but at least we could park close to the staircase as there was no designated car parking for the rooms up the stairs.

Very good breakfast. Kitchen tools available in the shared kitchen area nearby the pool.

It'd be ideal if breakfast time is earlier so we can leave earlier to avoid the head, even in October. Found one Gecko on the pillow upon arrival but we cannot convince it to leave the room - so we let it be. Parking can be tight as there are many big vehicles.

Management is really nice, friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit outdated, but clean with comfortable bed, fresh bedding, cold air-con, fridge and TV. Housekeeping stuff comes every day to ask if you need anything or if they should clean the room. Big plus is decent sized pool with bbq area where you can cook if you like. Quiet and safe location with walking distance town centre. The best accommodation in Katherine for us, thank you.

Some guests are loud and leave early.

It was a great room that suited our needs perfectly. Comfy and clean.

The air conditioner was not working well, and she was soooo hot. It was not a comfortable nights sleep considering.

Had an amazing breakfast and appreciated the use of the outdoor kitchen

The rooms were relatively inexpensive and clean. The buffet breakfast was unexpectedly outstanding. The premises seem reasonably secure for parking. There was a small pool and barbeque area. The only staff we encountered were at breakfast. They were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms and decor were a bit outdated and seedy looking but all was comfortable and clean.

We've stayed at Pine Tree Motel several times. It's a good budget-level facility.

The entry code was not working when we arrived. We had to call the Manager to let us in. The facility is on the old side and the breakdown suggests a higher level of maintenance is required to keep it functioning adequately.

I was not expecting much based on the price and that it included breaky. On arrival I was thinking the worst. It doesn't look much from the outside but the rooms were very well appointed for the price and 'age/style' of the building, the cleanliness was really good, very comfortable,relaxing poolside. As for breaky, I was expecting a box of cornflakes, so when there were eggs bacon and tomato with a decent coffee machine, I was really really impressed. I would stay here again. Oh and the Italian guy working there was very helpful, attentive, and many thanks to the younger gal who helped me work the coffee machine.

Very bad and first experience of this kind. Reception was closed (seasonal closure), we were instructed to collect room key from the safe but there was no key inside the safe. Called the after hour/emergency number several time, there was no answer. Imagine what would have happened while we were travelling with an infant and a child?

Clean, central, awesome pool area and laundry facilities and hot breakfast included, highly recommend
