Holiday Inn Express Dongyang Hengdian By IHG

The room is cozy, clean and I can enjoy every corner alone. Facilities are good, breakfast is variety, free self-laundryservice 24 hours.

None, you can use a translation app to communicate.

Spacious room with a comfortable bed and plenty of amenities. The breakfast is standard, but the location is excellent, very close to the Qin Palace. There are many restaurants nearby, as well as several Hanfu rental shops to choose from!

The staff cannot communicate in English, even though this is an international chain hotel. We had to use a translator app to communicate, but it sometimes caused confusion. Additionally, the room cost charged to us was higher than the amount shown on Booking.com (including taxes). The hotel charged us 10-20 yuan more than the listed price. When we raised the issue with the staff, they claimed the extra amount should have already been refunded through the system, but we never received the refund. Communication was difficult and often misunderstood. We couldn’t follow up on the matter further because we had to leave quickly to catch a train, as our ride to the station had already arrived.

Near to attractions. Walking distance to eateries and shops.

It's very close to the movie site, which is the primary reason we choose to stay here. The breakfast is nice. The staff members are very helpful.

None during our stay.

Clean and good value, breakfast was good

Right next to Hengdian Film Studio Qin Palace. Lot of restaurants around, bus at the entrance. Helpful staff and nice room. Wide variety at the breakfast.

Very clean and comfortable

The lady receptionists were scared to communicate. There was no reason to, the translator on the phone does it all for you.

The room was big, comfortable and clean, and even though it was next to a busy road, it wasn’t too noisy.

I know I should’ve learnt a bit of Chinese before visiting, but I think the receptionists shouldn’t get so nervous with a foreign guest. There’s always a translation app that can help overcome the language barrier.

- value for money- spacious room- good spread of breakfast- walking distance to local attractions

- lack of helpfulness from the reception. During check in, we asked if reception could help in booking a cab to airport when we check out 6 days later, only to receive a resolute "no" reply with a note of annoyance, as if we had asked for something absurd, thought that at least the staff could minimally show some sympathy to our plight (foreigner and unfamiliar with the working of the local transport etc).

Just across the road from one of the main attractions in Hengdian

Air con thermostat does not work well. Need to adjust temperature to like 22 to have feel cool in room.

Rooms are very comfortable, we stayed there repeatedly while filming in Hengdian. The staff are wonderful, and the location with views over the Qin Emperor's Palace is great! Definitely the best-value option in Hengdian.

Breakfast is limited and often cold, but I know it's newly opened and there weren't many guests when we stayed. Internet is slow.

Great location

Clean, beautiful room, nice stuff.
