Quiet, convenient and comfortable, neat, clean and nice garden/grounds. Great value for the price. And a great pool too.

We stayed at Scotty’s Mission Beach for just one night, and it was a very quiet and peaceful experience. The hostel had a well-equipped kitchenette, which was great for a quick meal. While it was a bit too quiet for our taste and lacked a social atmosphere, it was perfect for a short, relaxed stop. Overall, a good choice if you’re looking for a quiet, no-frills place to stay.

The accomodation was better than we expected! We stayed for one night as we were only passing through. The rooms are like small sheds, but with a good sized bed and modern bathroom. Good value for money and the beach is only a short walk away. There were workers living on site who were lovely - we collected coconuts from the beach and they helped us to cut them open so we could drink them. The host was really friendly upon check in too.

It was cheap, and at the location we wanted to be.

Bed was very average, very small room and extremely noisy aircon. The bathroom was modern but the drainage was very bad, flooded the whole bathroom floor.No staff on side at office opening hours! Other occupants called the cleaner to let us in.

Stayed for 3 nights as road held up due to flooding. Excellent price for a backpacker room. 1 Double room and ensuite

Awesome friendly staff who go above and beyond in making you feel welcome. Fantastic value and awesome location. Lovely and quiet with a beautiful pool and cold air con. What more could you want? Will definitely be back.

Mark was so polite and accomodating! Traveling as a couple it was very cosy and great value for money.

There is minimal female presence during our night there which some female travellers coming alone may want to consider.

This is budget accommodation so nothing flash, but the room was very clean and Mark the manager was very friendly and helpful

Very quiet and safe resort with attractive and well maintained garden and pool and undercover parking. The bathroom in our room was new and spacious and the aircon and TV in our room worked very well. There is a handy small communal bar fridge, table and chairs and a couch outside our room. The beach is just a short walk across the road where there is a playground and barbeque facilities. There is a big main kitchen area and a small cooking area near our room. There was a very friendly group of people from Vanuatu staying at the resort who are working in the area but kept to themselves. The supermarket is a short drive. The manager and cleaner were very friendly and informative.

You have to walk far or drive to get to a safety stinger netted enclosure. Our bedroom was too small for two adults with luggage or for a table and chair. The main shared kitchen walls, cupboards, and pots are old and worn and even though there is a few gas stoves only a couple of stove hubs work so need to wait.

Room was ok, it has a nice pool. Staff were really nice.

It was full of farmers mainly men of course and I was the only guest more or less. Didn’t feel safe so left within 20 mins without asking for refund. I’ve travelled a lot and never left a place before.

Very hard to find long way to the room no parking near the room very dark path ways.

Price was good. Rooms were clean and adequate for the price. Good showers in bathrooms in the rooms.

The kitchen was extremely dirty. There were fortunately some small cooking areas near some of the rooms. Some fridges were good, others missing shelves.Entrance very hard to find and no parking on site. Only in a residential street. Noisy guests walking on the verandahs and talking late at night.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay here. The staff member/manager who provided me with instructions for my room was incredibly friendly and provided me with some great advice for my holiday for where to see the best views. The room (while appearing somewhat quaint in appearance) had everything I wanted: free WiFi, towels, shower, cutlery, crockery, kettle, and a smart Television (which could easily be adjusted to be viewed from most places in the room). Right next to my room outside there was a small kitchen area with everything I was hoping for there (e.g. refrigerator, microwave, toaster, various cooking utensils). While I did not swim in the pool outside or use the main common area much I appreciated that there was the option to use both facilities.If I ever visit Mission Beach in future I will definitely try to book here again ?

Somewhat easy to hear noise between rooms (especially if someone is having a shower) - this only happened once after I had also had a shower so I'm not sure it's a massive issue.
