Kurrimine Beach Motel

Liked it was a good location right near the beach the staff was lovely but wasn't happy with much to tell you the truth. We stayed at the back of the motel and it was very gross with rubbish all over the place old mattresses, junk,old bbq,beer cans and no lighting at all on the back stairs so dark we couldn't see anything let alone the 17 stairs we had to climb which were all cracked and thought they were very unsafe. The room was pretty dinghy, no doona just a cover was not warm enough. The shower had be turned on 15mins before you had a shower because there was no hot water and the shower curtain was mouldy? and the actual shower head was way to low we couldn't fit under it. The room stunk from cigarette smoke badly for the 2 days we were there, think the 2 men in the end room were smoking in there room. And the decor in the room was very very out dated was not worth the money we paid that's for sure. I don't think we will be staying there again. And definitely won't be recommending this motel to anyone else. Sorry just was below average.

Staff were friendly and a beautiful spot.

The bottom of the shower was missing tiles, a cup was dirty, a plastic bowl smelt like cigarette and had ash markings in it. Sheets were stained, the door to the bathroom had alot of dirty markings, the mirror between two double beds also had dirty marks on it, the floor didn't feel clean. The light above the bed had no globe and there was electrical wires hanging out of the side tables next to the bed.

Very welcoming. . The room smelt fresh, clean, and very comfortable.

Location as well as a good pool which we enjoyed. Choice on evening meal menus provided a good range of food and drinks.

The area had limited opportunities for shopping.

It’s close proximity to the beach. Comfortable bed. Having its own restaurant and bar was convenient and the meals were delicious and I was always left satisfied. The room had a nice big bathroom and shower area.

The pool area was untidy and not cleaned for the entirety of my three night stay. My money was taken hours before I checked in which was a little rude. Made me feel like it didn’t matter if I showed up.

The location is perfect. It is definitely value for money. Friendly staff. The towels were lovely. Fuss free check in.

The couple that runs the place is very nice and friendly. Everything is personal and sympathetic. Nice and clean room with balcony. The sea is just a few meters away.

Lovely spot, close to the beach, lady at reception was friendly and accommodating.

The car could be parked directly outside the front door so easy access. Good shower with good pressure, nice and hot. Two big beds. Friendly staff and good value for money.

The shower curtain was covered in mould and the spare blanket was dirty. The cleaner clearly hadn't cleaned the roon properly as there were still items in the fridge from the previous occupant.

I really liked staying here. The double and the single bed in the one room was fantastic for a couple that normally have a bedroom each at home. The price was fantastic, and the staff were really great. Check in and check out was a breeze and it was close to the beautiful beach. I would stay here again.

Quite old.

I think it has a few low income permanent residents. On arrival we had unsupervised kids playing in the corridor, and on return from dinner a toddler greeted us near the stairwell, after wandering away unnoticed from (what appeared to be) a gathering in the unit next door that had spilled in to the corridor.

Great size for a family, we were very comfortable. The beds were nice, aircon worked well. We loved the two bedrooms and extra bed in living area.

A bit old, but good value for money so can’t complain.

Was neat and tidy.Owners were lovely and changed our room with no fuss to 2 queen beds.

Staff were very accommodating upon check in . Motel next to hotel offered Friday night buffet dinner at very reasonable prices

There wasn’t a couch or arm chairs to sit on had to sit at dining table or on single beds to watch TV
