Laundry was a little expensive ($12 AUD for wash + dry)

We loved our stay at Port Douglas Motel! So conveniently located. Just a few steps to the beach and main road of Port Douglas!

We loved the cutsie retro vibes and art work! The beds and pillows were comfortable! The aircon and fan kept a us super cool and the little kitchenette was convenient and clean!

Great location, clean, comfortable and good value with friendly management. All this and quirky retro decor, what's not to like! Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved the happy, colourful decor and the personal touches around the place. One of the most clean Motels we have ever stayed at throughout the world. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Jenni, who was incredibly kind. When it came time to leave, the owner, Bernie, even went out of his way to personally drop me off at my next accommodation since they were fully booked. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement—they truly made sure my stay was exceptional. Every time they saw me, I was greeted by name, which made it feel extra special. It was a wonderful holiday with outstanding service, and the location couldn’t have been better!

Location, location, location! You could walk everywhere. The staff, Jenny and Bernnie were fantastic.

The cost of doing laundry was expensive. The washer and dryer at the facility were six dollars each so $12 per load is on the pricey side.

Property is in a great location, walking distance to everything. Rooms were basic but clean and had everything we needed. Port Douglas Motel is quaint but very clean

What a great find in Port Douglas. Centrally located, the Port Douglas Motel had everything we needed. It was very clean and well appointed, and we had a very easy checkin. Definitely a great place to stay within walking distance of the main street and restaurants and cafes. Can definitely recommend.

We had an excellent stay at Port Douglas Motel. The location is perfect — just a short walk to both Four Mile Beach and Macrossan Street, with shops, cafes, and restaurants all nearby. The room was bright, clean, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchenette. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Plenty of free parking available too. A fantastic, easygoing place to stay if you’re visiting Port Douglas!

Really cool retro hotel that you couldn’t not smile walking into your room. Short walk to the main restaurant strip.

Car park is very tight. Larger vehicles will probably struggle.

Close to restaurants and shops, we could walk everywhere which was great.The beds were very comfortable and staff friendly.

The room didn't have a balcony, so couldn't sit outside the room.

Brilliant place, loved it.

Just unfortunately had very noisy neighbours who were making calls on loudspeaker outside the room next to mine late in the night but realise this wasn’t fault if the motel.

Loved the room with retro/ bright decor. Well located, very quiet, & pool area relaxing.Owner is very helpful & friendly and even called us to collect a drink bottle we left behind!

It's a perfect budget priced motel in the middle of Port Douglas.

The ironing board had a lump which caused the and dirty iron with black marks on it to damage my shirt!

Great family run motel. Very spacious, great location. Highly recommended.
