Rooms were close and one even had a bbq right in front which we used regularly. Quick access to the pool, the pool was fabulous, swim up bar excellent, unit good size.

Very accommodating staff, lovely relaxing resort.

Towels .. impossible to dry in your room need to be changed daily even if a surcharge was added.. I used the laundry dryer in the car park not ideal .

Location and quiet.

We had to accept an alternative room due to mould stench which was smaller in layout. Choose not to swim in pools as they were dirty.

Breakfast could have more variety and muffins weren’t great but staff were accommodating with providing take away breakfast when we we had to depart early on check out day.

Just small things such as checking the rooms as due to the rain or lack of use bedding and cupboards had a musty/mildew smell. Tea bags, coffee and sugar provided in room were all damp/appeared to need replacing.

Staff were very friendly. Room was clean.

Pool area was under construction and some was unusable. Pool access from our apartment was closed so had to walk around resort to get there. Pool bar hours were limited and drink choices were very limited. No real food options available. We were not told prior to our stay about the construction. Played tennis however all the balls were broken in half do were unusable.

Location great. Staff were absolutely tops. 100%.

Bed not comfortable. Pillows changed for softer smaller size. Room always damp. Air-conditioning much too cold for me.Walking to our rooms I could smell the damp in the hotel. Smelt like wet mattresses

Would NOT recommend

Could not stay at this accomodation as the room was so mouldy and dusty. Reported this to reception when they tried to offer another room that had been freshly bombed with air freshener to hide, I don’t know what, scent before we inspected it. Our concerns were reported and we were assured that we would get a refund due to the circumstances. I was told that a manager would call me regarding. I received no phone call, I received no update and I received no refund.

The fire alarms going off multiple times early in the morning

The pool and very good location. Easy walk into town.

The room was very dirty - the floors mainly. When walking along the floor bottom of feet was black and dirt stuck to them. Our toilet had pink mould. The fire alarm constantly going off in the middle of the night and early hours of the morning. We asked the staff where they laughed and said it was due to the weather. We were unable to get a good nights rest due to this. We stayed for 12 nights. Our room was not cleaned once. We had to keep asking the staff for toilet paper and a fresh lot of towels. Air conditioning also leaked.

Beds and pillows were amazing, the pool was nice, breakfast was great.

I wish the pool bar was open more. Our front door to the room had yucky stuff, like a splatter of something over it. The doors are heavy and it felt gross when we had to push the door open. Could only touch the handle.

Good location, close to Main Street port Douglas. Staff were friendly.

Our room was filthy, covered in dust and dead bugs. Had to wash all the plates and bowls before use as covered in dust and grime, room smelt damp and mouldy, bed sheets were cheap and nasty. Amenities were average and happy hour at the swim up pool was a huge let down, waiting 5 minutes for a beer and 30 minutes for a cocktail and then abruptly ending and closing down the bar, complete vibe ruined. Also no elevator and taking babies and prams, suitcases up and down the stairs was very inconvenient. We let staff know about our dissapointing trip and we were only told to leave a review.

Great accommodation excellent pools, spa and comfortable room with air con above the bed. Amazing staff!
