Peppers Beach Club Hotel Port Douglas

The pool was huge with a different experience with a beach walk in effect. Plenty of room for all to move around in it. Location was a short walk to the shops/restaurants.

The menu could have more of a selection on it for breakfast, lunch & dinner times.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is walkable to town and close to beach. The dinner meal was delicious.

The pool setting and the rooms were great. The jacuzzi in our room on the balcony area was also great.

The gym was very basic. Breakfast buffet was good but not great tbh. Not much choice.

Location is wonderful and the gardens are beautiful.

We returned after having such a wonderful time last year to find that the upkeep of the property is not as it once was.

Location fantastic! We were able to walk everywhere. The staff couldn’t have been anymore accommodating. We will never stay anywhere else, when visiting Port Douglas.Pool was amazing. And the staff were very attentive.

Location of the resort was great, walking distance to everything eg cafes shops etc.

Our room was not in a quiet area as requested and very loud with kids in the pool area in the evening . People also reserved sun lounges with towels all day.Buffett breakfast was not very nice and quite expensive per person, not a lot of options, location where drinks were very dark and just the configuration of where everything is placed not ideal, we found ourselves looking for things and trying to figure out where things were?? No butter or jam sachets avail so had to ask staff for some. We did not find breakfast staff very friendly.

Housekeeping didn’t turn up when supposed to, mediocre cleans when they did.General customer service around bookings and payments etc very poor.

Nothing about this property was five star. From the greeting at arrival, to the filthy lanyard the room keys were provided on, to the damp smelling room that also smelled terribly of a previous guests lamb chops with meat fat and grease splattered all over the range-hood fan making the whole room stink. There were no ceiling lights in the spare room, or the main bedroom (just lamps in the main bedroom). There was no fan in the bathroom. The whole place lacks character, substance and five star service. It felt like a dull, mouldy concrete jungle. The staff don’t behave in manner you would expect in a five star establishment. The only real genuine five star service we experienced during our three night stay was in passing with a man who was pushing a luggage trolley who kindly offered help and assistance which is what one would expect in a five star resort. Everything else was 3 star at a max.The pool area is bland, you don’t really feel like you’re experiencing topical far North Queensland. Not enough umbrellas. Mostly just concrete. Very unappealing.

Beautiful hotel, lovely location, to-die-for pool, great staff - smiles all the way.

The main pool was excellent. We had a dual access room which was a 1 bedroom suite and a spa room combined - it was excellent and we even had our own private pool.

Great location only 5 mins walk into the main strip of Port Douglas. Pool is lovely and Reception staff are very welcoming.

Room was bit small and basic for what you paid. Bathroom fan didn’t work and the basin was unusually highNo laundry facility at the resort either. Breakfast was expensive and not worth it we got omelette each and both omelettes were burnt to a crisp

A fantastic hotel with an absolutely amazing pool area—huge, beautifully designed, and even with a sandy beach section that gives it that extra holiday vibe. Whether you want to relax or do some real swimming, it’s the perfect spot.Another big plus: underground parking was included, which made everything super convenient. All in all, a great place to stay in Port Douglas and definitely a hotel we’d recommend!

The spa on the balcony was luxurious and the bed very comfortable.
