Port Douglas Plantation Resort

Great hotel for family holiday. Loved the bar and restaurant by the pool, just wish is was open more. The apartments were a good size

Had most amenities and was a short drive to Port Douglas. Comfortable and big enough for our family.

Wifi didn’t connect. Could have done with a few more amenities like a tea towel, coffee sachets and washing powder. Things you dont want to have to buy for a week holiday.

Close to port Douglas less than 10mins drive, pool open till 9pm. Nice to be able to make breakfast and sit as a family on a night

Nothing really, perhaps a little cleaner

Location was perfect for us as we had a hire car and was only a few minutes to IGA and 7 minutes to town. The pool are was lovely and the two bedroom apartment was good value. Property was clean and well maintained Great Netflix available. Would stay here again and would recommend even though some things could have been a little better.

On arrival no milk, tea , coffee etc. no tea towel to dry dishes, no shampoo or conditioner,no staff available all weekend to assist to help and when office door was open during the week no staff present even when door open., limited toilet paper Yes I am aware these are not serviced apartments however some basic amenities would have been appreciated as welcome to the unit . We had ants visit us which was not a problem as these things happen but could only find persoal fly spray aerogard . It was a bit cool so didn’t swim but would have enjoyed a hot spa. But it had apparently been turned off as not enough people however apparently all units booked out. Was told it would be turned on but this never happened.We had stairs up to our unit but not offered assistance to carry suitcases up to room.

There was no breakfast. And no staff anywhere. Quite disappointed

No staff. Also no safety near the pool we had young children

Lack of decent cooking utensils,no bbq on site,the restaurant was a far cry from what we expected,in fact it wasn’t a restaurant,the location,,there is no coffee shop or the like nearby and the stairs were difficult

Once serviced, the room/apartment was more than adequate.The pool was lovely and the bar/restaurant handy.

Room not serviced when we arrived, so we had to wait for that to be done.

Out of town location. Away from central tourist belt.

A great place to stay if you don't mind being at Craiglie, about 6kms from Port Douglas. There is no public transport into PD from the resort although you can book a shuttle service. A great pool with a Tiki Bar which was open from 4 Weds thru Sun. Tennis court as well. Comfy beds, great shower & washing machine & dryer if you've been up in the Daintree & need to do laundry. Kitchen facilities were great

The bins at the entrance to the property were overflowing. Not a good look.

Self catering, nice pool, good location but need a car to get into town, beach, etc due to distance.

Not serviced, not enough toilet paper, detergent, no vacuum, no replacement bath towels for a week stay, not enough bin bags. Had to buy own.

A wonderful restaurant and bar beside the pool. Karaoke and live entertainment.

Spacious, clean and very comfortable. The pool was very welcoming (as it was very hot during our stay) and the rooms were very comfortable and air conditioned. The location was ideal for us (on the outskirts of Port Douglas) and it was possible to drive into the town within 10-15 minutes. We were self catering and supermarkets and other shops were very close by.Our hosts (Glen and Sarah) were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.There is live entertainment in the pool area on some evenings and this was very good too.

Nothing. everything was just what we needed and wanted.

Staff/owners were friendly and accommodating. Resort had everything you needed:restaurant, bar, pool, live music too. Self contained apartment was great

Good location, very friendly staff, clean apartment, great facilities, food great
