Regal Port Douglas

The location is absolutely perfect! Only a few steps from Macrossan Street and easily walkable to 4 Mike beach as well as the marina. The staff is extremely helpful and kind as well!

We had a room with a Spa/Jacuzzi on our balcony it was a perfect place to relax and unwind and close to everything. Very Clean and Kim was super helpful booking outings and giving us advise on what and where to go.

Everything was Awesome

Apartment was specious with good air conditioning.

No elevators in the facility and lots of stairs, difficult as we had a lot of luggage.

The location, the staff is nice

Due to they are apartments (I guess) the bathroom amenities are provided just once, we were two nights. I thing they have more at the reception if you ask but if you are visiting places during the day you realize at your back when it’s closed

Bedroom suite apartment. Loved the two persons spa bath. Balcony. Very friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable room. Swimming pool. Very close walking distance to main street with cafes, restaurants and shops. Really enjoyed our stay here.

We had a lovely 1 bed apartment with a hot tub on the balcony.Great location with easy access to underground car park. Plenty of space, comfortable bed and it was great to have washing machine and tumble dryer in the apartment. The swimming pool was really nice.

Lovely hotel, good location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. We had an apartment which was clean and spacious. Would recommend.

We booked the Regal for a great price. low season is good for us FNQ locals!The room itself was very clean, beds very comfortable, and fabulous pillows.The bathroom is oddly placed in-between the bedroom and the balcony. It has a wonderful spa, but you have to climb into the spa to enjoy a shower. But you will enjoy it, as it has great water pressure! Tea/coffee maker listed... "yeah-naa" plungers don't count. Took my pods home again. lolThere are no lifts. There is undercover secure parking.The pool area is very appealing.The Regal is in a good Location, there are some good choices for food and drinks in the area.The hosts we met are a credit to the industry. Very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff were lovely and really helpful in sorting out a diving trip with me.The studio apartment was a great size, really clean and well equipped.The pool was also great size and very relaxing

Minimal internet reception… phone and wifi Aging a little which means a few things didn’t work

Best part was our room location. We had a choice from the ground floor and the corner high floor. My partner chose the high. The whole apartment was large and roomy. The balcony was very nice to sit out in with the cool night thundery breeze. Very clean and comfortable.Great customer service also.

When my partner chose the high floor we didn't realise we had to climb stairs. Unfortunately, with my aching joints, my body struggled up and down to and from our room. Also, the shower is situated in the spa tub and that was also a struggle to get in and out.

Bed was very hard and id like to see a couple of ceiling fans on the large verandahs otherwise excellent place

Regal Port Douglas staff were just wonderful - couldn't do enough to be helpful, both before and during our stay.Location - perfect! Can walk to all venues in town; Room - fabulous! Private spa on front deck, kitchenette and separate bedroom all felt very comfortable and luxurious; Pool - we used it, beautifully kept (even though slightly older decor!), and just like all north Qld pools at this time of year, the water was very warm!!

We didn't understand from website information that there were no lifts on the property. With 3 out of 4 of us nursing knee/hip/back injuries, those stairs were hard work!! The split level took a bit of getting used to - either going up to go down, or down to go up, to get from rooms to pool or underground carpark. (This is the ONLY negative for us)

We checked in at the property at 6pm we knew nobody would be there , you pick up the phone and talk to to someone … well this someone was so rude! We were an inconvenience to her evening. Rooms were ok! Nothing to shout home about. Cutlery and plates all plied ontop of each other, no kitchen sink to wash the kitchen utilities.

The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom .
