Moorea Sunset Beach

Absolutely top accommodation - and the staff esp receptionist was very helpful and courteous, 100% if the time a really fantastic place

The location was excellent - a few minutes' walk to a very nice, sandy beach that was great for kids (shallow, sandy, calm). There was a restaurant (adjacent property) on the beach, the food was so-so, but it was a great location. The unit was clean, reasonably stocked with what we needed, beds were comfortable. Three bathrooms, two showers. We used the outdoor patio for several meals. The hose by the door to clean our feet. Several nice restaurants a short drive away (Italian was good). Parking was easy. We did a boat/snorkel outing one morning (Nemoz, Ben and Tony were great) and they picked us up right on the dock at the beach. The snorkeling was quite nice. Kayak and other rentals right at the beach.

Only air conditioned in two of the bedrooms. The loft area was blazing hot and there are no windows in the loft that can be opened to create some ventilation (e.g., at night with the provided fan). A portable AC unit or something is needed to cool off this space. The roof leaked, but this was a minor issue. There were no coffee pods or dishwasher pods in the unit, we had to go buy some from the front desk. We checked in slightly after 5pm (lock box), so when we got up in the morning - no coffee! The front desk did not open until 8am? Seriously, we paid a fair amount for the rental and it's ridiculous that 4 or 6 coffee pods (3 bedroom unit) could not have been provided to start with - buy more as needed. Same for the dishwasher (provide one or two pods).

Adored our stay here. Can walk to get necessities or to local restaurants. You can snorkel right off the beach! Amazing!!! Holy Delicious will pick you up for dinner every night too if you don’t have a car

1 bedroom with another bedroom in the loft. Units are side by side (duplex style). Beach is beautiful! Wasn’t rent a boat for 4, no license required and take yourself to the sand bar for the sharks and rays and near the channel for a beautiful reef.Easy to cook in the kitchen..

No pods to make coffee. No dishwasher pods. No drip coffee maker.

Our beach bungalow was perfect. The view was better than expected and the unit was bigger than I thought it would be. The kitchen exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was great and I liked the toiletries provided.We only had 3 days to experience the property. We did not have time to rent kayaks or play tennis. I would like to return and will book this bungalow again. We enjoyed sunsets on the pier and the vibe on the beach.The bungalow's verandah is just lovely.

This property is perfectly located. There is amazing snorkeling around the coral gardens right at the beach as well as boat, kayak and paddle board rentals. You’re just across from cocoa beach if you want to kayak over. The cottages are updated, clean and beautiful! They had everything we needed for our family of five! There are also so many restaurants within walking distance or a 1-5 minute drive!

We couldn’t find anything to dislike!

Location, right off one of Moorea’s best beaches for snorkeling. Really close to Scubapiti in case of excursions. Room was clean.

Offer coffee for purchase rather than including some for the amount of nights booked.Bathroom smelled very musty.

Excellent location, very clean and quiet, has all amenities. Don't waste your money on big resorts or use airbnb which affects local folks' ability to afford housing. The location here has one of the best beaches, a paddle away from Stingray World, turtles and you can even spot whales from the coastline. It has all the amenities of your own apartment and is run very well: clean and quiet.

Had an apartment on 2nd floor of building - clean, upscale, stylish. Nice size room with large balcony. The only drawback would be a/c in bedroom only, although we were lucky with mild weather. Excellent service with phoned notification of early room availability, towels, and luggage storage. No food service in the apts, but nice restaurant and bar in the adjacent Tipaniers. Need a car (we had). Overall very good.

The beach of the hotel is the one popping out when you type "Moorea" on Google, with snorkeling reef and lagoon just in front of you. Really a great place, close to restaurants and best places on the island. We were in the garden bungalow, with 2 bedrooms, one upstairs. We tried many restaurants around, but the room offers also a full kitchen. Beach towels are provided, as well as a closed parking.Wifi quality was very good!

Cleaning was twice per week, that could be increased considering the sand in the room, despite the outside shower present and used.

Located on one of the best beaches in Moorea for water activities. We rented kayaks and boats everyday to go to the sharks and rays site just offshore. The villa is well equipped and had everything we needed for a family stay. No AC in the loft, but there were fans and we slept comfortably in June.

Beautiful Location by the beach. Our excursions picked us up and dropped us off from the beach. The office was helpful and responsive. We enjoyed the deck of our garden bungalow and close parking to the room.

Our only wish was for access to a BBQ grill since we cooked dinner each night.

Easy walk to the beach, and a neighboring hotel with restaurants. Surprised that there was no prepared food available on site.

It was very noisy. Roosters woke us up in the morning, and then yard maintenance went on for over on hour just outside our room.

Great location! Very nice staff. Comfortable accommodations. Two minute walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful with lots of shade, soft sand and incredible sunsets. Very close to a pier and activity center where you can rent kayaks, boats and scuba gear. Close to a grocery store called Magazin Tiahura where you can find anything you may need. It’s also close to a restaurant and cafe about 5 minute walk away.

We had a garden bungalow that had one room air conditioned. While we were thankful for the cool air in the bedroom, it would’ve been nice to have cool air in the rest of the house. If you kept the living room glass doors open it would let in cool breezes but also let in unwanted bugs and lizards.

This is the perfect location for those that want to visit the sandbar full of baby sharks and rays! Walk straight to the beach and go! Boat and kayak rentals are also just steps away. Check-in was also super easy with very friendly staff! Kitchen was well equipped plus in-unit washer and dryer perfect for a relatively remote island.

The air conditioning is only for 1 bedroom. The second bed is upstairs and only has a fan. The pull-out couch is in the living room, that also does not have AC. Be prepared! The space is good for 4, but very tight for 6. Either way, dinner table is outside in a very pretty deck. Bring mosquito repellent!
