    Pros +

    • The property was comfortable, clean, and you could tell that the managers went to that extra effort. There were a few small Christmas decorations. There was everything that you could need. There was handmade goat soap, which was really delightful. Good quality, snacks and coffee bags. Everything was done to a standard better than it needed to be which shows me they really do care that their visitors have a comfortable stay.
    • Great value for money and comfortable beds and great AC. Love that its oet friendly and do yourself a favor and get there for sunset and walk up to the sunset viewing platform. It's breathtaking.
    • The location and layout of 2bed tiny house was great. Kitchen cooking available as well as a pub down the street

    Cons -

    • I had no problems with the property
    • A jug for filtered water or bottled water would be appreciated
    • Unfortunately there was a storm that came through during stay and the window above bed does not dampen any sound. Otherwise a great stay.

The cabin was clean, the bed was pretty comfortable, lovely soaps and most importantly, pet friendly for my two furkids who were travelling with me.

It was very clean and very pleasant room. It was a good size for 2 people and had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. We saw a beautiful sunrise and sunset from the hill top located the back of our bungalow.

The lady who runs it is very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and nice, has everything you need. If you travel with camper or tent - plenty of space, nicely done. Good place to stay.

Travelling through so was only a short overnight stop, but place was clean, comfy beds and easy check in check out.

All good, didn’t have time to explore the area

    8CarolinePosted on: 4-29-2025

Cabin had all that was needed.Lovely and clean with very comfy bed. Value for money. Shower surprisingly large with plenty on hot water.

If you're a light sleeper, train and road noise, may be an issue.

Location, room was exactly as advertised, amenities close by

Location just off the hwy was very convenient. Good cooking facilities, nice big fridge. Big comfy bed.

Kitchen area had a lot of ants which we sprayed but by morning they had reappeared and collected under the dishcloth and over tiles.

Unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend staying here based on what we experienced

The accommodation itself was far from clean. The rooms were mouldy, and we found ants throughout the space, which was not acceptable. What made the experience worse was the noise at night. The owners, who live on-site, had extremely loud music playing until 5am. This made it very difficult for our young children to get any sleep, and really impacted our overall experience.Unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend staying here based on what we experienced.

    Nice clean & quiet unit

The bed was small and very uncomfortable (too soft and sagged on left side)

    10MelaniePosted on: 4-2-2025

Very friendly on arrival. Room was very clean and beds were very comfy. Was perfect for us . Kids loved the big area to run around in.

    Nothing bad

It's our second stay here and Teena has been so helpful each time. It's the perfect place to stay with our dog, spotlessly clean, very comfy bed and I love the local goat milk soap provided!

    9GrantPosted on: 3-20-2025

Originally concerned with road noise However once in our cabin with the Air conditioner operating did not hear a thing .Had a restful sleep and will definitely stay again .

The interior is modern and you can walk uphill to see the Mountain View.

The cooktop lettering is worn off. It is two stoves (front and back) with lettering at the front both side. I can't tell if the left one is for the back stove or right one as it is not so visible as gas top. I will suggest to put one instruction on the wall.

This was a wonderful place to stay after a long day on the road. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. The beds were very cosy with super plush pillows and a lovely little boutique goat soap for each guest. We had everything we needed for a nights stay, and the kids enjoyed the oreo cookies provided. The little soaps, oreos and Robert Timms coffee bags show the owners go the extra mile. The location is quiet and peaceful with a beautiful spot to walk up to see the view, and let the doggies off the lead for a sniff around. Teena was welcoming and helpful.

10/10. Great spot to stay. Really tidy pet friendly accommodation that had everything we needed for a pit stop. Pub feed was amazing and just a short walk, perfect to stretch the legs after travelling all day. Definitely recommend.

A fantastic spot to stay just off the Highway. Very quiet, clean, with generous amenities. Treena was friendly and helpful, giving us all the information we needed for a late check in. The whole place is neat and well equipped, organised and super clean. We walked to the Mt Larcom Hotel for a drink and delicious meal. Altogether a lovely place to stay and we will definitely be making Mt Larcom Tourist Park our first choice when travelling up North.

Nothing to mention. It was great. We thought it might be noisy so close to the highway but it was actually really quiet. Fully air conditioned so that was perfect!

    Very good

Cabin was a little cramped and shower was a bit low on pressure (i used the shower block facilities instead)
