Barcaldine Country Motor Inn

Love the space in the room, the friendliest staff that greeted us and the comfortable beds

Notging

Only overnight stay but we had everything we needed. Had a excellent meal at the restaurant.

Curtain/blind on front door wasn't good enough to keep out the light outside.

This is my preferred place to stay in Barcaldine..Great location, good food, clean rooms, and comfortable beds.

No breakfast but the room service meal for dinner was exceptional and served by a friendly staff member.

The wall with the adjoining room was not very soundproof as I was kept awake by the insistent snoring of the guest next door.

Staff were friendly and helpful with late check-in. On site dining room had excellent steak meals, reasonably priced with good service. Room had 2 comfortable double beds, was clean with good shower with excellent water pressure.

Room was great. Receptionist was kind and helpful. Food at the licensed dining room was great. Only nitpick about the room is that there's no power outlet near the bedside table.

Great value for money! Quiet and comfortable.

It’s a little dated but very comfortable.

The bed

Location and no shade pool too far away

Booked through booking.com. 3 kids 2 adults at Barceldine Country Motor Inn. I assumed booking.com would find appropriate accommodation. They decided to book us in 1 room with 1 queen bed. So my family and I were lucky it was off season while staying there as the staff were able to find us a room more suited to my family. For the price you pay I'd expect booking.com to do better.

Great place to stay. Pool is amazing. Clean, comfortable and staff are lovely.

Fantastic room & exceptional service especially in the restaurant for breakfast!

Public phone booth on the footpath is very close to the rooms. A loud, ignorant tourist was using the phone at the top of her voice for over an hour. Not the fault of the Inn, but something to be aware of.

Location

Booking was mixed up, room had no microwave (family room), bedding was outdated and beds uncomfortable

Comfy, clean room. Great little restaurant.

Very comfy bed in a very clean room. Dinner in the restaurant was not only convenient but superb. Best steak i've ever had and lovely fresh vegetables.

Great size cabin, with good amenities, walk to town, close to bakeries, IGA, pubs and Tree of Knowledge.

Handy to main street, yet quiet.

The bed sagged a bit.

Clean, decent size rooms. Easy walk into town. Across the road from petrol station and diner. Friendly staff

The rooms face onto the main road, but are set back a fair distance.

We had our evening meal here and it was great and the staff where lovely

Bed a little soft, but we like hard beds, but all good

Very well maintained rooms and helpful staff

On main junction so truck transport noise well into the night. Tolerable but noticeable.

Clean, spacious and has great facilities

Great room, lovely big kitchen area. Great dining room, excellent meals at good prices.
