    Pros +

    • The welcoming by staff guest relation . She was " au petit soin".
    • Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was good. Jennifer made an effort to make contact at breakfast the day before we left to tell us a bit about the area, the resort and made a few good recommendations about beaches in the area to consider visiting. She is a valuable attribute to your portfolio I would say.
    • It had good beach views

    Cons -

    • First impressions last. Our expectation as per pictures of advertisements in comparison to the general condition of the facilities were not good. Staff don't seem to be properly trained re basic service standards and reception personnel upon arrival certainly not very hospitable.General maintenance of the facilities would go a long way. As you enter the Hotel, the fish pond on either side is in a very poor state and either that or the refuse area next to that bears a bad smell. Shutter board used to cover trenches on pathways not a good impression. The pathways definitely not suitable for suitcases to be moved along, the grass and garden at the resort not well kept or seemingly maintained at all. At least cut the grass.Incents or perfume at the entrance is overwhelming. Toilets at reception does not smell good. Rubbish lying in hallways on first floor and basically everywhere in the resort - a basic responsibility of the grounds man and for all practical matters employed staff as they move around the facilities to be made aware of the state of the resort and public perception thereof.Guest clothing and towels hanging over balconies in clear view for all to see is not a good practise and should be guided by hotel management.Late night parties - private functions it seems, create a bit of a disturbance. We stayed 3 nights, there were two private parties. The main road against the area where we slept were quite noisy and busy but having full days elsewhere on the island, able to sleep through.Unfortunately, having stayed at a few other resorts prior to arrival at Coral D'Azur set an expectation of hospitality standards on the island. This resort however would not be an option for us as it does not compare / compete well with the others we had the privilege to stay at during our visit.
    • I would ask for something and it always seemed like a bother. The gym is filthy. The food was mediocre. Lots of geckos on the ceiling at night. They would vacuum outside my room at 7 am every morning. Banging into the door.
    • Maybe missed the info about show program being run until 11pm. For my personal taste, it was too much. No irons in the room is the hotel policy. I’d take my own if I knew this, as I don’t like using the laundries. I had food poisoning from the first dinner, luckily had all the meds and could recover in 1 day.

?????? & ???? ???? ???? Beyond 50Live An Inspiring Location Independent Life!??????? ?????? ?????? ?? ??????????????? ?????? Fair WiFi?????????? I absolutely enjoyed the rest and restoration I experienced at the lovely resort. I would definitely stay here again!???? ? ?????...• All the staff was attentive and gracious. Particularly Shilpa! She noticed that I was a solo traveler and invited me to lunch one day to keep me company ? It was delightful• Very clean and well maintained.• Bus to Port Louis is just a few steps away across the street.• There were a few activities hosted by the resort, like the welcome cocktail party and karaoke.• I booked my airport transfer through Booking.com and it was the lowest cost of all the companies. Very smooth connection with driver who was pleasant for the long drive.???????? ????...• In this small town, there are not many dining options and some of the higher rated places are only open for dinner, i.e., walking after dark. Prepare for the possibility of having all meals at the resort.• Some reviews mentioned party noise from the entertainment area. I heard music, not unpleasantly loud and it stopped promptly at either 10p or 11p, definitely not later.

Welcoming staff, very friendly, Mr Vincent was very helpful (special thanks to him). Very nice location. Coral signature Room perfect, We enjoyed the good food mainly the ocean buffet. We spent quality time there. We'll come back for sure.

Beautiful resort with amazing location, right on the beach. Most rooms have an amazing azure ocean view. If you want a perfect affordable beach resort in Mauritius, this is it!Room size is fine. We were a family of 3 (2 adults + teenage son). It was sufficient. Bathrooms are clean and have modern fittings, beds are comfortable (except the child bed, which they fixed later when we complained quite a bit).Coffee-maker and micro-fridge in every room. They give you one 1.5 liter of bottled water per room every day. May not be sufficient, but you can buy additional water from a store nearby. We had a rental car which we could park easily without any hassle. One day, we took bus to Port Louis, which comes right outside the resort. The bus ticket to go to Port Louis from the resort is MUR 41 per adult, with buses every 15-20 minutes. The staff at the hotel is helpful and they'll help you in navigating within Mauritius, suggesting places, suggesting how to get there etc. There are games (a bad foosball table and an okayish ping-pong table) at the hotel.Pool is beautiful. Large enough to swim a bit, or just relax! Jacuzzi is not great - it never got warm enough for me despite trying multiple times. The resort/hotel provides free kayaking and glass bottom boat rides. Sailing is available at additional cost, but I would not recommend it unless you know how to sail. If you are going with the instructor there, it's just an expensive joy ride in the ocean - nothing else (I made that mistake)!Breakfast spread is huge, although it gets boring after a couple of days - same menu every day! Limited options for vegetarians like me.Super-market and some restaurants are nearby, at a walking distance of about 1-1.5 km (5 minutes by car, if you rent a car).If you know how to drive, I strongly would recommend to rent a car in Mauritius. Taxi is exhorbitantly expensive and unreliable.Overall, very good experence at Coral Azur Beach Resort!

Internet connectivity is horrible. Do not rely on it at all! It's just terrible terrible. Never works! Buy a local SIM card (MUR 750 for 200 GB) and then you are good with your phone's hotspot.Room phone (if you have to call reception) does not work 80% of the times.Kid bed was not good. Had to request multiple times until they fixed it on the 5th day of our stay.Housekeeping is okay. Most things were taken care, but a couple of times, they did not put towels in the room, water bottle. Had to go and request it. Sometimes, the attitude of the front-desk staff (some of them) is not great when you request such things. But I chose to ignore it.

Our room had a wonderful view - we were told it was the best room in the resort. Social activities happen each evening. The buffet breakfasts offer a wide choice. It particularly caters for groups and families. The staff are very interested in making your stay enjoyable - they ask each morning what you'll be doing and if you have any comments to make. We planned to snorkel off the beach as the description said this was possible - but when we got there we were told there wasn't anything to see - though in fact we did find patches of regrowing coral and one area with plenty of fish.

The buffet each evening was relatively expensive - we explored the local area and found several other nice restaurants nearby. It's quite a self-contained resort (good for families with children) but it's worth going out and exploring more of what Mauritius has to offer.

Close proximity to Trou aux beeches and Mon Choisy Beach. Friendly staff, local taxis right outside. Good location.Really good local restauarants to suit all budgets. Excellent unhindered sea view from beach suites. Good quality car hire with excellent service. Wonderful sunsets.

Hot water in rooms was hit n miss. Room service quite often missed items. Hotel is somewhat shabby chic. Generally tnough exceptable.

The garden and cleaning was perfect, staff was very family friendly, thanks to Jennifer at the front desk for her warm

The door of bathroom and shower should be decent and closings completely instead of glass

Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and dinner that was included was very good with a lot of variety. Waterfront close but not swimmable.

My room was very tired and the resort and pool need a renovation. Though value for money was ok.

I firstly want to express gratitude for the amazing people of Coral Azur who made my birthday week the best one I have ever had. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by Vincent and P, with a cocktail drink and in no time we were taken to our room. The best room in the Resort like Vincent said, and he didnt lie. The views?! Nothing short of amazing. On the first night of our arrival you would expect us to rest from our flight and settle in but no we were whisked away by a night of fun Karaoke with Joana, one of my favourite people there-if you meet her you will see why. I want to tell you all about our exprecince because everyday was unique and the kindness, humility, patience and thoughtfulness of everyone at Coral Azur, but I will try to keep it short. If you love fitness, there's yoga and aqua activities in the pool every morning after breakfast. Every night, there is some fun activities after dinner too, besides karaoke you will enjoy game nights, disco night (with a dj), or a cocktail night. Breakfast time you will meet all the lovely chefs that will tend to your every need if you love food like my partner and I. And while you are sitting there enjoying your meal, you might end up being serenaded by Jennifer Lopez of Mauritius, you are lucky if its your birthday because you get to be serenaded everyday. On the resort there is free paddle boating and kayaking, also a glass boat cruise to see the coral reef. All of the above come standard to your visit but i want to also mention the extra mile the staff went for this memorable vacation: They helped my partner organise a romantic evening, you know rose petals champagne and all. They baked a special birthday cake which I thought i would just get a slice with one candle on it but no, I absolutely loved it. The mama from housekeeping and laundry who ironed our clothes even if it was late so we can be ready for our dinner, thank you so much.

I loved everything about this place, I wish we could stay longer.

The room was basic, but clean and functional.Food at breakfast and dinner was good. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Wi-Fi disconnects every few minutes. The hotel definitely needs to improve this.Washroom does not offer a lot of privacy. There is music/party every night starting at 9 next to the pool. Could be disturbing for light sleepers.
