Roadside, noisy, request for quiet room disregarded as getting closest room on the road

Amazing staff that went out of their way to remove any inconvenience you might have, very welcoming when I arrived early after a long flight, amazing location and facilities, combines cozy with luxurious with only 16 rooms. Delicious dinners every night at very good value.

You don’t get a typical continental / British breakfast, but you can order tasty eggs and omelette that is included in the price. There were a little too many birds in the bread baskets for my comfort, but I put my trust in the toasters.With local plantation available I wish they would have done more out of the coffee options, and trained staff on how to make proper French press coffee.

What an unexpected gem! We had a wonderful stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and helped us to celebrate our anniversary with thoughtful touches and extras throughout the weekend. The location is perfect - right on the beach - and our room (despite being a garden view) looked out towards the ocean. We also loved that activities like kayaking and snorkeling were included in the stay, making it an excellent value for what we paid.

Excellent location, the best in Mauritius. You are in a calmed and relaxed beach but also close to all the island attractions and sea activities and places like Grand Baie. Small cozy hotel with extremely friendly staff

I had a lovely stay at Sakoa Boutik. Everything was top notch from the staff to the breakfast to the beach. Great location and the beach in front of the hotel is well maintained. There is a sectioned off swimming section so that boats do not anchor in front, something that may be a challenge with other hotels. There was a complimentary 1.5hr boat ride with snorkeling which was a nice perk.

Everything was great!

The rooms, beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, the staff extremely polite and friendly, the location on a wonderful beach where we can snorkel just a few meters from the shore, the swimming-pool, gorgeous and perfectly adapted to young kids, the equipment provided, the sunsets from the bar and the breakfasts.

We wanted to extend our stay, rooms were available but as it was last minute, the price they offered us was almost twice the base rate despite the rooms remaining vacant, curious choice.

We love everything about this place. The rooms, the staff, the food and not least the beach. The service was top notch and very personal. They knew our names straight away. Definitely a gem.

Breakfast! Terrible! There was a bee invasion! You couldn't actually eat!The restaurant staff were too relaxed!

On one of the most beautiful beaches this little hotel is providing everything you need to have a great vacation.Rooms are big and comfortable. Clean and well organized place. Coffee here is so good and the breakfast is outstanding.Kanu and glass bottom boot trip to the reef ? is offered for free. Here you can snorkel and see the underwater world. They are really Kids friendly and offer proper meals on the menu for kids.We extended our stay...that's how great it is here.

Maybe lack of activities

Wonderful location, very friendly staff and very spacious and comfortable rooms.

Small beautiful hotel. Always enough sunbeds.

NO privacy. The hotel is open to everyone. Anyone could use its restaurant, shower, toilets, walk on the territory, look in the windows. Sunbeds are for rent. It seems like you are living in a beach club, but not in a boutique hotel.Stuff is poorly trained. Only one or two persons are really helping and doing the job perfectly (Thierry, responsible for the reception, was always doing his best to make our vacation perfect). We spent 5 nights in this hotel and every morning on the breakfast were asked the room number. If you have only 17 rooms - please, try to remember your guests.No clothes dryer. So towels and swimsuits are hanging on the chairs and tables on the balconies.

Really warm, helpful staff. Gave great recommendations for dinners and things to do.

Pool is small but it’s on a beautiful beach so not necessarily a problem!

Superb property in a superb location. Very large rooms, friendly helpful staff. We stayed BB and food was good we also had excellent lunches in the OAK restaurant.Could not fault this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Thank very much to all staff of the hotel. It's really very nice and very relaxed place. Room vas big and nice, restaurant exllent. Very quet place. Perfect for the couple and family vacation. Small hotel and as the end of the vacation you feel like all guest, you and staff one big family. I do reccomend everyone to come. Beach is nice, water beautiful. We was for Christmas period and hotel organized many nice events to enjoy this time. Thank you to all staff from the hotel, we really felt like home.

We have spent 5 nights at the hotel. The staff was helpful and kind. The view for the ocean was beutiful and our room was well equipped. The breakfast was okay.

We have needed to change room because in 1 hour we have found 5 cockroaches. In the second room we have found less.

Very cozy, very nice room, very good location, walk to supermarket and restaurants, beach is very pretty
