Civic Motel Grafton

Loved the old fashion charm, the room was spacious, comfortable and cosy. The location was excellent and felt safe.

Close to city centre, shops and venue for our function

Queen bed in reasonable room. Air considering not do the job, bathroom was a squeeze

We asked for a ground floor room and she explained that the onlyavailable room ground floor was still requiring some updating and was happy to show us and if we weren't satisfied with it we could have a room on the first floor, as we were only staying one night so we accepted it but would not recommend it for longer stays. The shower had a massive step to get into it.

Great motel with off street parking and walk to shops and pubs. Friendly staff , clean and very comfortable.

Location was within walking distance of supermarket and also the Clocktower hotel. Although this was not open on the public holiday. The room was set out very well. Lighting was so good. Bedside lights bright to read by. Good shelving to put luggage on. Plates and microwave. Bed very comfy with a nice rug to throw over. The shower was large and fantastic, with very nice large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash that all smelt amazing. The receptionist was one of the nicest ladies we’ve come across. Above and beyond. Offered to help with our luggage and was naturally friendly. So nice after 8 hours of travelling.

We didn’t mind the stairs but all rooms are upstairs.

We stayed here just for one night as a stop off driving through. Arrived late and departed early but I would come back and stay again if I was coming to Grafton. Good location, very clean, exactly what you need! Didn't have much interaction with the staff, just a quick goodbye to reception when leaving the key back but she was very nice!

A lovely clean room with nice furnishings, beautiful fresh scent that ny son commented on when we walked in. You could tell thst the cleaners & the property managers cared. The motel didn't feel dated when you walked in. Nice colouful cushions, cookies & exceptionally clean. A very good experience. Thankyou

Location is perfect, easy to find and park, staff are friendly and accommodating. Room is generous and very, very clean. I'd stay there again.

All rooms are upstairs, but I didn't mind that.

The location was good with a short walk to restaurants and cafes. Aircon and fan were great. Hot water also plentiful and the shower pressure good.

The property was a little old but effort had been made to update some facilities. We only had a double bed but it was reasonably comfortable.

The Civic is an older, small motel in a central but quiet location. The rooms have been maintained to an immaculate standard and are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The true test of a hotel / motel is whether you would stay there again. The answer for me is yes without any hesitation.

Nothing to not like

Central location.This motel room would be very suitable for a worker who just wants a reasonable place to sleep.It was clean.

The room was very small and involved climbing 20 steep stairs.The windows were covered so that you could not see out.A balcony and view were advertised and not actually delivered unless you count the walkway and rusty roof view.Taps were almost impossible to turn on and off.The toilet was so jammed in it was hard to sit comfortably unless you were very small.
