Almare Tourist Motel

The new owners pleasant and helpful attitude. Any problems were not their fault. I understand that they have plans to improve the motel which I am sure will make a huge difference.

The room was much smaller than expected but clean and serviced daily.

Good location

Booked to stay for a few days, and used half of the shampoo on the first day. Went to use the remaining shampoo on the 2nd day - none.

Clean, comfortable and we got fresh milk for tea and coffee!

This room was the smallest I've ever stayed in. Room 4a - I wonder if the 'a' means that they split one room into two?

The room was excellent for4 people. The room was scrupulously serviced every day. The bathroom was excellent. The available services(microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, clothes rack) were great. The aircon worked great

Towels did not need to be replaced every day, re-using would be fine.Cleaning staff walked in on my daughter on the toilet in the morning, even though she sang out hello when she heard the door open! Shes not sure if they knocked before coming in.

Very clean, had everything you could need in the room and great outdoor area.

A pool may have been nice.

Its very clean and tidy, everyone got one car park right in front of the room, and also free milk upon arrival.

Excellent old fashioned motel, perfect for us and our dog… third time here

A rather small nuisance that it is on part of a long stretch of divided road, you have to drive around the block to access it from town

Easy access

Very bright fluro lights directly outside the rooms (even blockout curtains don’t stop significant light bleed when they are so bright right outside the windows)… would be really helpful if they can be turned off after say 10pm? The kids asked “why was it daytime outside” when we put them to bed after 9pm… otherwise a good eye mask necessary.

It was very spacious and Tidy. Near lots of nice places to eat

Quiet and friendly staff. Well stocked if you wanted to eat in - great little round table to eat or play cards on.

Central to where we were going. Wonderful shower & bathroom. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Easy book in.

The room no comfortable chairs think it was a cat room and allergic reaction with not been able to breathe well
