Ballina Homestead Motel

The then owners were very kind and drove us to and from the airport as part of the hotel booking.

Location is walkable to the shopping centre, but not much round in Ballina apart from there. We were there for Splendour in the Grass.

Quiet and spacious

25 min drive to Byron Bay

The room had a few issues that affected comfort. The beds were sagging in the middle and not very comfortable. The fly screen had a hole, so we couldn’t open the window due to insects. Room cleaning was slow and felt rushed when it was finally done.

Facilities in the room ie microwave and plates etc was a great touch. Thankyou.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and just what we needed after a long drive.

Woke up with bites all over me from bugs. My guess is that the bed had bedbugs

Booked in for two nights but the air conditioner wasn’t working and neither were half the PowerPoints in the room. The staff tried to get the a/c fixed then when that wasn’t possible, they bought us a fan.

All was perfect for us. We have stayed in numerous motels in Ballina before, but the Ballina Homestead Motel exceeds them all. We will certainly be back with our pet. Very happy family It was great that the sports club was not too far away and we had a wonderful meal.

There was nothing at all that we didn't like. We loved it.

Bed was good. Good TV. Sports club nearby so easy to find a meal and a drink

Acoustics between rooms not great, car spaces were tight.

Spacious rooms, good shower. No complaints. The chocolates at my door on Easter Sunday was a lovely gesture, thank you.

Located near shops, bowls club and highway access, but lovely quiet location

Great location, wasn't bang in the middle of the main street and horribly busy, it was just back from everthing which made it nice and quiet. It is walking distance to dinner, shops and coffee. Everything you need is right there. Discountrd dinner at the local sports club was good. I am a female traveling alone with a large 4WD. Staff were friendly and helped me park my car, I also felt safe the entire time. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a good size TV. Coffee cup, bowls and cutlery all provided in the rooms. I hade a great stay, thanks.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Kid friendly. Great having the cafe on-site for breakfast too. Easy parking. Heaps of outdoor space to catch up with friends and family. Bonus discount at local Cherry Street Club for dinner ??

Carpets are very worn, showers okay.

Walking distance to town and river. Clean.

Very welcoming and accommodating to our specific needs. The studio was well equipped with full kitchenette and plenty of space for our dog to feel comfortable. Will definitely visit again!
