Ballina Beach Nature Resort

The location was perfect, far from everything to be nice and quiet but also walking distance to a beautiful secluded beach. Ideal location! Fantastic pool and water park for kids. The vibes were very nice slow paced and laid back easy to talk to anyone; staff and visitors! Will definitely stay again.

Our cabins cleanliness was not fantastic, we aren't fussy people so it wasn't too big a deal for us but this is the only downside I can say about our stay. Everything else was perfect.

Everything you need was within the luxury tent. Tent was fantastic during storm on our last night.So peaceful and relaxing.Perfect place for a young family to have fun.

The staff were friendly, the pool is amazing, and we were able to get an upgrade. Also, it's great to walk to a beautiful beach nearby.

The furniture (couches) and dooner were stained, and there was a hole in the outdoor table. Not a big deal, but it could be a bit cheaper due to those things. Also, we didn't have Wifi and there wasn't a booklet with info to connect, or with any other info. Lastly, you should have a happy hour for cocktails ans drinks, as $20 each is steep, especially when they come in a plastic cup.

Location. Proximity to the beach. The new pool and kids water park is sensational.

We didn't not like anything, but given the location, if the onsite cafe was open a little longer to cover dinner etc that would have been great. But definitely not a deal breaker.

Great to have the water play, pedal carts and pool area as well as a restaurant serving lunch and dinner.

Room was not clean on arrival. Shower door did not slide and screen door did not lock.Staff could've been friendlier. We turned up at 12:30pm and were blankly told to come back at 2pm when the room would be ready. Asked if we could receive a phone call or message if it was ready early as we had some perishable food that needed to be kept cool and the answer was "we're too busy".

Looks like a fun place for kids.

Cafe closed on Monday and Tuesday's and no food within miles. Make sure you take your own.

The unit was filthy and un hygenic.Falling apart.Terrible place.The unit has been used as emergency accomadation , frequently visited by the police.Blavk mould , dirty filthy loungr from animals.Stove all rusty and not working.Shower has black mould and in heaps of sand and dirt.The kitchen table old falling apart with grafitti scrached into it.Totally discusted.I would like a refund.Could not check out as they had no mote units .They called it luxury accomadation.I AM GOING TO TAKE THE MATER FURTHER.

Beach was nice and the ferry was very convinient

There was excessive noise late into the night and early morning due to being placed in a tent right near the water park. (Not a fault of the management but didn't meet the expectations we had of a nice, relaxing weekend). Tent was a little run down also, fly screen on front door, microwave (and whole tent) had a funny smell. Couch and decorative pillows had weird stains and weren't clean. Overall we were pretty disappointed and chose to leave at 9.30am the morning after the first night even though we had paid for two.

Location, the villa were amazing and the pool infront if us was a bonus for the kids.

We were placed in an extremely old, dated and dirty cabin. The pictures shown when we booked, did not match the cabin we were given. There were many issues with the cabin:1. Mould on blinds/curtains2. Fridge was not working. We realised a few hours into our stay and reported it to staff. The staff replaced our fridge with a new one, which was half the size of the first one. Clearly the fridge needed time to cool down, which meant our food (including meat, cheese, milk, yoghurt) could not be cooled and was getting too warm. When I told the staff the fridge would take a while to cool down, they offered to return with some ice to place in the sink to keep items cool. They never returned with ice and the office was closed by this stage so nothing could be done. In addition, when the staff removed the first fridge, one of them noticed a lot of dust and dirt in the fridge area on the ground. He told the other staff member they should sweep it up, to which he responded “don’t bother, they’ll do it when they bring back the correct fridge for this cabin”. 3. Sliding door did not close properly and could not be locked. 4. Aircon could not cool the entire cabin. 5. No balcony as described in booking/pictures. 6. No fly screens on most windows.7. Booking was made for x5 people. The table inside the cabin only had two chairs. 8. Cutlery supplied was only 2 x knives, forks and spoons. We booked for a family of 5. 9. Kitchenette had inadequate cooking facilities. 10. Cabin was generally not clean. Dusty and mouldy. Overall, we sound staff unfriendly and the price per night for what we received was definitely unreasonable. This is sub standard accommodation at a price of approx $500 per night. We booked for two nights, but left after the first night. Not because we expect luxury, but we had to throw out of a lot of our food and weren’t enjoying our time there.

For myself I found it super relaxing.Great bed and pillows and very, very quiet at night.Kids have so much fun throughout the day i think they are completely buggered by dark and falling asleep.It was a shock to my system to come off the ferry into the first round about in Ballina!And the traffic gradually builds the further north you go till you reach gridlock.Can’t wait to visit again and to be honest wish I never came home.I’m so over the rat race the goldy is now and getting worse every month.

Pool and waterpark were excellent, staff were friendly.

The shower in our cabin needed a really good clean, lots of mould stained grout, other than that cabin was clean and sheets crisp.

Our fan didn't work which made our room extremely hot and our cabin for 5 was very small and definitely not for a family of 5.

I loved how calm and peaceful it was. The "glamping" tents are phenomenal

AI response to after hours call is disconcerting and wasted time. So happy to see the a/h human who helped locate my tent. Post stay inquiry re lost property not followed up.

Regretful, disappointing,

I paid double the price my friends did. I booked 6 weeks earlier than them!Then when I asked if I could check out a night earlier (giving over 24 hours notice) due to my mum sent to hospital in Brisbane. Staff told me I could use remaining night of stay for a future booking so I cancelled. An hour later, I received an email saying cancellation had been accepted, and that I had forfeited my remaining night. I went straight to office to discuss. Firstly they told me a staff member wouldn’t have said that. After I asked them to call her (as she had finished for day), when she said she had, they told me sorry she gave wrong info and basically too bad. On top of this, our remaining night was spent having to endure floor sanding going on in the next cabin. I have video footage of this awful sound. The microwave didn’t work nor did the stove topElement or the light over stove. Had to drive 40 mins each way to feed my son as was unable to use cooking facilities. Also on our last night while speaking to family in Brisbane regarding my mum, apartment lost power for a few hours and was unable to charge phone. It was upsetting to be treated like a liar and not be issued the remaining unused night as advised. Terrible experience. Manager was supposed to call and never heard from them.
