Alstonville Country Cottages

Awesome place! Views were great and the property was very relaxing! The pool was great and the cottage amenities were so nice.

It was cozy, safe, clean, the high ceilings were nice, giving room. The view was fantastic and it was fun visiting the animals. The rooms are larger than they appear in the photos.

A floor mop or vacuum to clean the floors ourselves would have been useful.

Kids loved the saltwater pool and the chickens (we picked every day some eggs). The cottage had a nice deck to sit and relax. The walking track to the Duck creek was fun as well.

I like the cabin location because it is surrounded by nature. They have a farm and we can buy fresh eggs for breakfast. The cabin was clean, the bed and pillow were comfortable, and the kitchen was of a good size to cook spectacular meals. The veranda has a BBQ where you can eat outside.

We want to use the pool, but it was dirty with insects.

Nothing we didn’t like but the power tripped when trying to use the toaster so may be worth replacing this. Otherwise, all really good

Private, beautiful, quiet, peaceful location. Cottage was well equipped and spotless.Comfy beds and deluxe duvets and pillows. You can feed the goats, donkey and chickens. We overlooked a field with cows grazing.There is a rainforest walk on the property also.

Quiet & central to family, friends & the beach

Spacious cottages with nice surrounds. Location was good. The hosts were friendly and helpful.Lovely surprise with an easter egg and bottle of wine left in the cottage.Some farm animals on the property that you could feed.Comfortable and quiet.

Little wardrobe space or pantry for kitchen.

The location has a wonderful relaxed country feel, beautiful scenery just adds to the overall feeling of relaxation

As an older woman, the only thing I felt that was needed was some foot stools when relaxing on the couch, they would have helped (well helped me any way) LOL

Beautiful grounds and fruit trees, good parking, plenty of privacy from other tenants, staff were very friendly and helpful. Kitchen was also well equipped. Loved that the property was pet friendly.

Everything you need in a simple, comfortable setting. Lovely additions include fresh coffee, farm animals, extensive gardens with fruit trees and a pizza oven if you have the time/desire to cook up a storm. Very clean, super comfy bed, quite private and relaxing. The extra info provided on the birds in the area, quirky stories about the farm animals & the location were a great addition to the traditional 'tourist' information usually supplied.

There is some highway noise but it wasn't unpleasant.

I’ve stayed there many times. Very quiet, roomy cabins, full kitchen, lots of hot water. We went this time to ride Lismore-Casino rail trail. Lots of room for bikes on the deck. Good parking. Perfect for riders. It’s a 20 minute drive to Lismore and start of trail.

I liked everything.

The location is beautiful, set in lush gardens with distant sea views. The cottage was spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed and lovely views. It was so peaceful and quiet and altogether a great place to stay.

Unable to utilise walk to duck creek as unable to find path

Stayed just one night, with 3 teenagers; travelling for a swim meet. The cottage was lovely; very clean, beds & pillows were insanely comfortable! Fully equipped kitchen. In a very tranquil & quiet setting. BBQ out on the verandah.The kids swum in the pool & took a walk to feed the goats and donkey. WiFi was good. Aiir-con was good too plus ceiling fans in all rooms.. We all enjoyed it & would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend.

So peaceful, feels like you a long way from anywhere, but your 10 minutes away from many conveniences. Staff are marvellous

Our Alstonville holiday was great! Everything went so smoothly from the time we booked till the time we arrived home. I would definitely recommend Alstonville Country cottages to anyone. We went to some amazing places with great variety of sights available. This is a dog friendly place and our fur baby loved the freedom to explore.

Lovely rural location

The power went out on our last day which forced us to leave a day early. I texted the owners to say we were leaving due to no power and was it possible to add the lost night to another visit. Never heard back.
