The staff wasn't very friendly. She didn't give us a whole bunch of information. We didn't even know that we could go up to our hotel room from the back and thought we were locked out. Also she was very indifferent, not particularly friendly.

Everything was very clean and tidy .Meals were wonderful and value for money . Bed was comfortable and also had a television .. very Happy with my stay . Alex the Publican was very approachable and helpful , good Bloke !

Bit loud (thin walls, weekend stay), bit warm (no air cons), key needed for restrooms rather than code, no spare outlets in room to charge devices, all things to be expected in old buildings, but some of which could be updated (outlet splitters perhaps).

Clean spacious king suite. Large bathroom. Comfy bed. Great central location.

Our room's verandah was above the pub's smoking area so it was quite noisy and smokey at peak times but not an isue outside pubs opening hours.

In the middle of town. The pub food was very good and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfortable.

Shared bathroom, toilet. Noisy at night. No wifi. I actually changed to Mullumbinby motel, owned by the same crowd. A much better choice with shower, toilet and wifi. Quiet too.

Very clean room, we loved the furniture and style ,the spa was amazing. We had a yummy dinner downstairs the staff were great and had an awesome sunset. We would definitely stay there again.

Right in the cbd, The rustic charm of an old country pub. Friendly staff, stayed for easter bluesfest so the bus picked you up right at doorstep.

Had the front corner room, which had no blinds, just flimsy laced curtains, so street and balcony lights flooded in all night and with punters drinking on the balcony, privacy was a bit concerning. The eight oclock am kickoff with street buskers kept you timechecked , recommend earplugs.. its fine for a classic pub.

Food at the pub is good value. The rooms are fine without being more than you would expect from a country hotel.

Less noise before the pub closes, but that isn't going to happen. Wifi would be nice => not hard these days.

The location was spot on; it had a very comfortable bed.

The shower was a trickle; no hot water on our second morning; no wifi; large gap under the door that had to be blocked to cut the car park lights out. At over $250/night (due to bluesfest) these issues weren't acceptable.

Nice old pub and friendly bar staff.

You cannot call this establishment in advance if need be and this is very un personal. I missed having a meal due to a traffic accident. The room I was provided was occupied by other guests when i went up to bed. They basically handed out the spare key to other people. This absolutely should not happen. No compensation was offered.

the music that came on at 6am from the speakers outside the verandah and no one to call to turn it off for a hour. needs an emergency contact number. otherwise would have rated higher. could do with coffee tea kettle at least in rooms

Nice old pub, well renovated. We were too late for the bistro. Good range of beers.

Room was a little small and quite warm without aircon but had a fan. Some noise from the fridge motor but not too bad.
