    • The room was ok but the whole place is dated and nobody looks after your room your on your own
    • Beautiful place and lots of activities.

    Cons -

    • The breakfast buffet items were cold, and all the restaurants fell short of expectations in taste. Given the beautiful resort and location, we anticipated a higher standard of quality.
    • The Food was just horrible, nothing was nice. The staff were so rude, I knocked over a coffee and they were going to charge me to come and change the sheet or if they didnt come they were going to charge me if the coffee did not come out of the sheetMy laptop got smashed by the staff who just let it fall of the trolley and has cost me a lot of money and inconvenience which is such a shame as location is 10/10
    • The staff gave us conflicting information about the age restrictions to ride the ATV quad bike tandem with my 4.5year old so he became very upset. The crew that took us parasailing wasn't the most friendly and there was a group of guests that they didn't land safely on the boat - they landed in the water and he got knocked about in the waters and we were terrified that he would get hit the boat's propeller. Thankfully he was ok. At checkout, there was an extra charge from us changing from solo to tandem quad bike and the staff couldn't omit the charges since the tandem quad bike rode didn't happen. We had to wait for a manager to be able to access the system to remove the charge. This showed a lack of trust between the managerial team and their employees.

Stunning location , right on the beach . grounds well maintained. Nice new pool area .

The eating / restaurant area is quite disorganized. Can’t book a table , no table service , meals from the grill were average . Very long queues for the cafe on a weekend .

    Great location and clean property

The food could be better quality & need more breakfast options.

The highlight is wreck snorkelling. We are very experienced, but we noticed the guides also did a great job with people who were not confident. We also enjoyed the beautiful beach.

The restaurant quality is very average, made even worse by the high prices. When we were there, all of the vending machines were completely out of stock, and a lot of the food at the cafe was as well. The other restaurant was closed at the time of our arrival. The cost for the buffet breakfast is outrageous. The lines were also very long at times. Overall, it feels like profit is the priority at this place, not the customer experience. Our room was fine, but the carpet was sticky underfoot. We dreaded going for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The activities are fun but also very expensive and short in duration for the $$. We left the holiday early! I think a day trip would be enough. I also felt bad for all the international tourists (there are heaps) who were experiencing an average stay.

Nice, clean , newly renovated room.

The resort has many activities to keep you busy. We especially enjoyed the whale watching cruise and the wild dolphin feeding was a magical experience for my children.

After a few days I was really bored with the limited food choice.

    1. We self catered as we booked the apartment style accommodation. So I can only say the meals were Fantasmegorical...2. We managed very well with our Fabulous A block location and glorious picture window for winter warmth and magnificent outlook. 3. The excursions offered were great and we particularly enjoyed the performances delivered by Brett, he's a natural in that role. We were glad we did the Northern expedition with him. 4. We'd been Welcomed by Staff, smiling, hospitable and informative, smartly presented in Logo branded outfits. All readily identifiable. All neat and clean and tidy... until dear charming but scruffy Brett! 5. The layout and range of facilities are most amenable. 6. Unfortunately it was Pool maintenance time so those very inviting Day beds under the lovely big umbrella couldn't be utilised. But I awoke each day hoping...

The tiles in A block are very 1970s as is the carpet square. It's also shedding and unravelling. The tiles are in good condition although old, so could be overlooked, IF that square of carpet were to be removed and New Carpet (tiles) were to be fitted/installed. Dear Brett, the hair length doesn't compensate for the retreating hairline!

We had a lovely view from our balcony across the water towards Brisbane. The resort is very accessible for someone with limited mobility. All staff members we encountered were very friendly.

We only found out about the works being carried out at the resort when we checked in. We subsequently had to endure building noise from 7.30am to 4pm each day. As the works were carried out in front of our apartment block, we also had full view of the trucks etc coming and going which is not our area of interest. The food choices were also disappointing, particularly since we were there between Easter Monday and Anzac Day when the resort was packed and there were queues everywhere. The grill was shut on both days as this is usually the weekdays it closes - makes no sense when it's really busy! Also, there were hardly any vegetarian options.

Excellent location. Resort next to the best beach. Everything was handled. Reasonable prices. Good evening entertainment and free day activities, along with beautiful paid attractions

Nothing..maybe that I couldn't get late check out

    6NikkiPosted on: 4-29-2025

    Ripped off

Child ages changed depending where you were paying an adult fee for a 13 year old to snorkel at a murky wreck. Wouldn't recommend to go here. The ferry was expensive $280 return for 2 adults and 2 kids this was additional to the room charges. Entire place was expensive.

Helpful and friendly staff, tasty food, great accommodation

Too expensive food in restaurants and lack of food choice in the store

    10JennyPosted on: 4-26-2025

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was awesome, fresh and well cooked.Room had a great view and was all that we needed.

Room although good was a little too close to reception. There were also no towel racks for beach towels like a lot of other rooms had outside their door. This would've been good. Just small things.

    8MichlPosted on: 4-21-2025

Friendly helpful staff, comfortable beds, clean, basic appointed accommodation with easy 75min transfer to island but you feel like you are miles from home.

We stayed in a King Deluxe Room for 2 ppl, room has no crockery, cutlery ie plates, knife, fork or spoons for eating, toaster, chopping board or knife, these small inclusions would have made our stay a little more comfortable...maybe the resort could consider these inclusions for future guests or byoDolphin feeding is crowded so get there early.Order, eat & drink early for breakfast, lunch & dinner as restaurants & bar run out of menu items.

Pros: Beautiful locationLovely beach with access to amazing diving/snorkelling Room was comfortable Ferry service was efficient and well runCons:Location was beautiful but completely overrun with motorised vehicles of every sortAs you walk on the beach you have to avoid quad bikes and cars. The eco centre has a photo of a turtle that was run over, but there has been no effort to prevent this from happeningOnce you get to the wrecks, you have to dodge huge boats (there were 14 there on one of our swims) and jet skis. Why is there no boat exclusion zone? Why isn’t the safety of swimmers prioritised? Some of the boats are engaged in fishing, which is known to increase the risk of shark interactions for any swimmers in the area. The dolphin feeding is a few seconds of interaction amongst several hundred people lined up. Not an authentic wildlife experience. Overall: a beautiful site that lacks any regulation to prevent ecological damage, and fails to provide a safe environment for swimmers/divers.

    8EkaterinadorPosted on: 4-6-2025

Heated towel rack, plenty of beach towels, staff is amazing, and there is something to do even in rainy weather (table tennis, billiard, trail walks). Dolphin feeding is extremely well organised, family friendly and overall it was a fantastic experience. Pools are aways clean, we saw how meticulous staff are cleaning it (both pools) every day. Each level of the building has washing and drying machines.

The resort has a shop, but the options are very limited: almost no vegetables (so if you want to cook a salad, it is not possible), no slippers (so if you forget yours or they broke, too bad), no porridge for kids except expensive ones in single use bowls. We stayed at the Kookaburra building and one of the lifts' doors did not open properly from time to time. There are some options for eating out, but they are quite limited. You have 3 options for the evening: grilled meat and fish (absolutely delicious!); fish and chips cafe with burgers, pizzas, salads; Stone and Fire restaurant which is quite expensive (average dish is $40) and dishes mostly are very spicy (the menu shows 4 options: no spices, one pepper icon, two peppers and three) and we couldn't eat the dishes with even one pepper, so spicy they were.

It was a nice resort. In need of a refurbish. Could hear the people in the next room very loud and clear. Heard when the carts were going and coming back. If you want to sleep in there is no chance. You have to walk 1.2km to the car park if you drive there. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Plenty of food variety to buy. Merchandise was expensive. The grounds were very clean and tidy. Lots of places to have BBQs.

Loved the atmosphere, the room size, activities and resources available but didn’t love the limited food services

Beautiful location close to Brisbane. A bit tired & needs some work but very convenient to Brisbane & amazing holiday for families.
