Golden West Motor Inn

It was clean and reasonably close to the Greyhound coach terminal. It's on the main road and opposite an IGA and two pubs. The bathroom was huge. Plenty of lighting options. The bed linen was clean. I had to stay an extra night due to Covid. It was comfortable enough just to stay in bed.

The rooms (or mine at least) had a box air conditioner which was a bit noisier than I would like. It would be great if they had split system units in all of the rooms. The male manager was unfriendly and made me feel like I was imposing on him. Argued about what was and wasn't said in an earlier conversation. The female manager was fine.

Large comfortable clean room and bathroom. This is my third different overnight stop in Miles and I think I will come back to this one.

Great place to stay! Clean and very friendly staff. Great pub across the road with fantastic food. Also a good bakery and Foodworks just across the road too. Highly recommended this accommodation

The location was good as an overnight stop. The bed was comfortable and the room clean which are the main things for an overnighter.

Host was very welcoming with lots of helpful local information. Our room was clean, comfortable and very spacious, though a little dated if that is something that bothers you. The motel is a very short walking distance from a Foodworks and multiple hotels. We had a very good meal at The Q Hotel across the road.

Minor issue - the aircon was a little slow to kick in, though it eventually did and was fine for the rest of our stay.

I appreciated the friendly staff and the convenient location. There were yummy local beef steak and popular pub food just across the road.

The room was spacious and clean. We had everything we could possibly need.

The TV was a bit hard to find out how it worked.

They were able to provide a portable cot for our baby, the fridge was really cold, and it had the amenities needed for our small family of 5.

I had an NDIS participant who had to go to hospital instead of stay here and they refused to refund it. Very disappointed and selfish considering it was completely out of anyone’s control and we had booked on the same day.

After hours checkin was friendly, easy and quick.Room was very comfortable, felt homely and clean. Bed and pillows comfortable also nice fluffy towels, not the usual crusty white hotel ones.Our room had all the small amenities you need. We will come back.

Everything. Staff contacted me when I was running late to see where I was Waited until I got there. Were so friendly. Then I got into my room and wow after the Walgett experience. So nice, clean And comfortable Microwave and toaster in addition to the usual jug. Just wonderful. I will stay there again.

Friendly owners who provided all the info I needed on arrival. Room was clean, comfortable, a good size and had everything I needed. Great to have immediate access to tea/coffee supplies, which were boxed up to keep them bug-free, and all the bathroom supplies right there so I didn't need to go frantically looking for them on arrival. We had a extra room and with the door configuration we could not use the air conditioner when our bedroom door was open so there fore it was very warm at nightShower door did not shut completely so water went all over the bathroom floor making it very slippery for my elderly mum getting out the shower.Liquid soap dispenser in shower was too high for my 8 year old to reach and there was no solid soap to use.Neighbouring room had TV playing all night and it could be clearly heard in our room which made it hard to fall asleep
