Wondai Colonial Motel & Ivory's Restaurant

Location is great - right on highway as coming into Wondai.

Rooms not very soundproof. When going for shower had to wait for hot water, and then was only just warm. The mattress should be replaced.

Rooms were nice and dark.Very clean and cool. Food at the restaurant was sensational ?

Great motel in Wondai. Well appointed, very friendly staff and very clean. Also flexible with late check in and early check out, so would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was perfect and spotlessly clean also very comfortable. The staff were fabulous and the dinner at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much. We would highly recommend staying here.

Maryanne is a wonderful host & looks after all your needs. The restaurant is excellent & we were pleasantly surprised at the breadth of the menu & wine selection for a small town.

Lovely staff. Clean room. Convenient, within walking distance to touristy spots. Great dinner in the room.We were travelling with a dog, when booking it didn't register so when we arrived, we were both surprised but the staff member was most accommodating and sorted it out for us.

We've only stayed one night but we found the staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfy and it had everything we needed.

Great location to catch up with family in the district. Friendly staff who gave us great information about what was happening in Wondai on the weekend we were there.

Shower had very low pressure for the first few nights until we asked for it to be fixed, and then it was great.

The family room could do with a kitchen sink mainly so you don't have to use the bathroom water and sink.

2nd stay here, highly recommend. Friendly staff, comfy beds/pillows, great shower & very clean.

Mary-Anne was a fantastic host. Very particular in getting our meal orders right any timely. Excellent quality of food in their restaurant.

The only thing is the sound insulation between the rooms. Probably the roof cavity needs more insulation . We had fairly noisy family as neighbours on one night.

Friendly staff and had a meal at the restaurant on site and it was terrific. Room was clean and spacious. Great motel in a quiet, quaint town.

Easy access into our unit was important to us. The tranquility was relaxing.

Would have appreciated a small discount for people on the aged pension. The shower recess was a little too small.

I provided my own breakfast but the owner made me a lovely dinner.

Nothing could have been better I would always stay here because it's very quiet comfy bed very clean nothing was too much trouble very friendly made feel welcomed

The grounds were immaculate and pool do clean. Rooms were generous and nice.

The whole experience was exceptional. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and tidy, well set out and very comfortable. Breakfast was a perfect start to our long day ahead, delivered to our room with a friendly smile and lovely good morning. Would certainly stay here again and try out the onsite restaurant next time.
