The Oaks Hotel Motel

It was close to every thing. Clean. Great location.

Loved the fact everything was local you could get an awesome pub meal from the bar or head around the side to the bottle shop.Beaches are close and staff were an amazing help for recommending beaches and pools close to the oaks hotel.

I stayed for 2 nights, and after the first day, no room cleaning service was done. This is my first experience of this sort for me in Australia

Great motel. Had the family suite. Great amenities.

Could be cleaned better in the bathroom in the shower. Overall well kept.

Convenience of location- close to everything and quiet space.

Not having a general clean daily. Just checking in with our general supplies (e.g. toilet paper, milk, vacuum needed etc) would have been appreciated. Staying there for 4 days I feel should have had a general check in even on the second day for restocking of any supplies. I am under the assumption that cleaners don’t enter longer-staying guests only if they have the ‘do not disturb’ sign displayed on door. As we didn’t once have this displayed. Only writing this feedback as a suggestion- as I’ve never come across a longer stay without cleaners still checking in daily with supplies and quick clean if necessary around belongings.

Only negative was that the staff member checking us in didn’t tell us we could use our room key to receive a discount at the bar / food, we over heard it getting explained to another customer

Minor difficulty over booking resolved readily by bottle shop staffer (doing it alone for the first time!).We were a late check-in (with notice, agreed) and all was satisfactory after a long day and afternoon though 46C had not long given way to a cool change.

Wheelchair accessible room was good, and had things arranged at bench height (good for wheelchair user).Room was up two steps; ramp, at other end of parking, was not obvious and not marked on room mapSecond bed in that room had no reading light.Reading lights were very low powered in all three rooms.

Room was spacious and clean with all the amenities you could need,and had more in the kitchenette than alot of places i have stayed, at which was great. The guy at the reception was lovely and helpful.

Cars speeding through the car park as a shortcut to avoid the traffic lights wasn't great... Pillows were a little thick and firm but I always travel with my own Pillows so it wasn't an issue.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were great. Having the hotel close for meals was a bonus.

I'm still waiting for $100 refund. It's now been 10 days.

Really comfy bed. Spotless room, great rain shower & thick, white, fluffy towels. Everything you might need was there - toaster, jug, microwave. Ironing board & iron provided.

Clean and tidy, staff friendly easy check in. Always a great place to stay!

Super Clean, had everything we needed plus more. The showers were absolutely amazing and perfect after a big day! The bed was so comfortable, and the aircon was fantastic on the hot night. Was our first time travelling through this area, and will definitely be returning and staying again! The pub is right down stairs and the food is incredible. 10/10 recommend.

We got ripped off others in the group paid a lot less ! All the same rooms some were $30 less and others $100 less for exactly the same, one rang the place and booked so won't be using booking.com again and getting overcharged !

The unit was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Good sized and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and lovely court yard with wooden picnic table. My family would definitely stay again.

There are a few things that need to be fixed such as tightening/replacing door handles on internal doors. Also maybe clearer signage as there were guests that walked into our unit thinking it was reception.
