Had a lovely dinner the first night. The breakfasts were Devine.

This is our third stay at Anchorage. Location is excellent. Staff were all happy, pleasant and polite. Breakfast was enjoyable.
I gashed my foot on the steel step covers on the stairs. There was a lot of bleeding. We were able to clean and dress the deep wound ourselves as I carry a first aid kit, but it has taken several days for me to be able to walk properly. The steel covers seem to be a bit of 'overkill' especially as the stairs are irregular. This happened on our last night so was an annoying and 'painful' end to our stay. Maybe a warning or replacement with less heavy covers. The ones there are extremely sharp. Otherwise our stay was very enjoyable as always.
Gorgeous property and nicely maintained. Reception staff were lovely. Pool area really nice and the free watermelon was a lovely touch. Breakfast was good!
Restaurant food & service was poor and more expensive than Rick Steins. The bar was freezing and last orders were at 8:30pm. Felt like they didn’t want us there which is a pity as it could be a lovely cosy cocktail bar. There was a group of seven of us buying cocktails at $25 each and we would have stayed late. It put a grinding halt to a nice evening and if we had known earlier, we would have eaten elsewhere. The hotel had the AC pumping out and the place was freezing. Fires build atmosphere but none of them were lit, so the bar, reading room and the surrounding rooms were all empty.
Brekky was exceptional Rooms were great , but 102 was lot smaller than 101
Great spot, wish I had known about it earlier when we had travelled this way in past years. Love the style of the hotel and grounds, just beautiful. Price good for the quality of everything.
I wouldn't do the loft room again. As a middle age guy with a hip replacement I really thought the railing at the top of the stairs and the stairs themselves could be a problem for someone 6'4" in the middle of the night going over the railing or the other way. I wouldn't recommend walking from the bed to the bathroom in the middle of the night after a few drinks. Also I know it was a week night but a bartender taking last drinks at 8.30pm made a long drive disappointing.
Breakfast was exceptional, with a stunning view, excellent service and great food. Our rooms was lovely, a little obsurced by the pool, but still lovely!
Dinner at the restaurant was unremarkable (leaning toward disappointment)
We found some of the staff particularly when it came to the pool, not happy to help us, particularly with the sun bed mattresses. They shouldn’t hesitate to get them and/or have them out on all the lounges. It wasn’t great, and made us feel a bother. I recommend cool, soft music to enhance the vibe by the pool, and better service there. If it had this, I’d say it’s amazing, but this let it down.
The food was incredible great breakfast with anything and everything you could eat. Dinner was also delicious.
The weather was terrible which I know isnt anyones fault, but the property is a bit far from anything so we had to drive everywhere, there was no information booklet in the room so we just had to find what and where to go.
Everything! We loved the Anchorage and look forward to another visit. The location was stunning as was the property. The staff were very pleasant indeed.
Nothing it was as near to perfect a it gets!
I like everything .. from the check-in, to arrival bubbly at the lounge, the room, the view, the breakfast, the housekeeping, the everything!
The bed - the mattress was squeaky, slight movement and the mattress "rocks" .. I thought I was going to get motion sickness (!!)
The whole experience was so lovely. Easy check in, great room, very relaxing environment. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. Bars very helpful with views over the marina. The sunset was amazing, easy to watch from the marine.
Firmer bed
The buffet breakfast was wonderful. A lot of options to choose from. The harbor was beautiful, fun to see all the boats parked.
Location . breakfast . They put us in a room with a view , our first room had no view . Lovely breakfast .
Information said heated pool . No heated pool water too cold to swim . On checkin reception said it was heated to 25 degrees . Another member of staff said it was solar heated . Another staff member said it was not heated , so very disappointed as we wished to swim . And told three different stories .
Our 4th stay. Lovely comfortable rooms (definitely get one with water views). Breakfast amazing. Gorgeous pools. Nice big towels!
It’s too far to walk to town at night so if you want to go out for dinner and have a drink you have to get taxis. But there is a restaurant and really nice cosy bar on site.
Breakfast was amazing, a very good buffet with DIY juice station and an egg station with a chef whipping up any requests. Bed were comfortable, rooms a good size. Two different pools which was lovely- one adults only with inifinity edge and then a big family pool with lots of cabanas and chairs. Fruit was offered around in the afternoon. QR code meant you could order drinks to the pool chair. A glass of bubbles on arrival was a lovely touch upon checking in. Free and easy parking.
Restaurant service for lunch was very slow.
A beautiful hotel property overlooking the marina and bay. Beautifully decorated rooms with comfortable beds. Amazing buffet breakfast included each day, with delicious coffees made by the famous Angela!
Internet is very slow.
Lovely hotel in super location. Excellent breakfast. Big, comfortable room .
