Nelson Towers Motel & Apartments

All of the above were excellent. Really exceeded my expectations. The location was outstanding. Walking distance to a number of venues. Room was great and the bed was top grade. I would highly recommend this property to my close friends.

Feel that maybe a swipe card would be more self friendly than punching in the code each time for access. I don't know. Just a thought.

Comfortable stay. Did notice rust in bathroom.

I had trouble with the fridge. Bought small ice cream tubIt wouldn't freeze properly in the freezer..

Great communication with property. Great location. Info centre across the street very helpful. Loved sitting on balcony listening to the birds

The room was spacious and clean with more equipment provided than expected. The bed was very comfortable.

Although there was parking provided it was in a very difficult position. A larger car would not have been able to park.

We had no access in or out of parking area - our key fob would not work - we reported this on Thursday & was told it would be rectified - it wasn't . The only way for us to return / enter was to wait for another resident / guest to leave or return so we could utilise their key fob - sometimes waiting for up to 20 minutes . The lift was also shoddy & not always working properly . I'm not happy paying $300 a night & can't even get into ( or leave ) the place .

The only real problem I had was that there was cockeroaches in the kitchen and bathroom and on dining table,also the smell when u walk into the elevator and into the floor of the rooms was horrible smelt like toilets didn't smell fresh and clean it was a turn off for me

Check in was very convoluted.

The room and location were absolutely top notch we greatly appreciated those two features.

If I had to pick something negative it would be the room outlook but we chose the cheapest room so that's on us.

Pool on the roof an added bonus. Perfect location opposite Marina. A short walk to restaurants. Beautiful walks around Marina.

Room was a little small. No reception staff for the size of Nelsons Bay Towers and Apartments I imagine making huge profits but cutting cost, this I dont understand.

Central location. Excellent wifi. Spacious and clean studio. Clear instructions for contactless check in.

Quality of room inspection. Both glass sliding doors to the balcony could not lock or were faulty, the flyscreen door handle fell off and I had to screw it back on several times. Exhaust fans to bathroom and to the toilet did not work. The waste water pipe on the a/c next door leaked onto our balcony floor which I only found out by walking out in my socks otherwise I could have easily slipped..Paid for a room wit a "Bay view" it might have been 10 years ago but not now as the trees has eliminated ay views

Accommodation in a really great location. Really easy walk to the marina and to the shops and pub

The Parking facilities were very good and access was great. Also access to the shops and Nice Cafe was excellent. Unfortunately the Bed, although very clean, was lumpy and uncomfortable. Sleep was hard to come by. The carpet on the floor needed attention, Vacuuming.

The cleanliness of the Bathroom needed attention ie The floor tiles were sticky and grubby with insects like beetles. The Track of the sliding door out to the Veranda was dirty as were the tiles outside on the floor. The lack of human contact with Management was a reason that a property of this nature fails in these areas. There is no one to complain to, and it seems there are no consequences for not performing ones required duties adequately.

No breakfast included,,, not even decent coffee or tea or any other food or biscuits supply customer service was terrible for elderly parents,,, actually a resident helped my parents to get in garage and to their room will NOT recommend this place to any friends or relatives,,,

Very poor reception staff -very unfriendly and unhelpful Very poor check in process - no one at the motel to greet Reception staff did not answer my help call

It was in a prime location. The cleaners were the only staff we met, and they were very helpful and always made our room up very nicely when we got it serviced. Thanks so much cleaners.

My fiance and I stayed at Nelson Towers, Hotel and Apartments. We thought the room was adequate it had everything you needed in a hotel, but it could of done with a bit of maintenance. The bathroom had rust on the ceiling above the shower, there was mould on the shower tiles, the fan cover in the bathroom need a good clean etc.The very worst thing about the hotel was that it was infested with cockroaches, they were bad, we herd from other guests that there room had them in there too, we even had to ask the cleaners for fly spray!The only thing going for the hotel was the very friendly cleaning staff and it was in a very good location.So my fiance and I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.
