Pros +
- terrible customer services
- The central location of the Globe Hotel in the village of Rylstone is ideal and easy to access by car. Shared bathrooms upstairs were OK. The local drives to Lue and Mudgee are on good sealed roads. The railway line isn't used much anymore. The off-road bike path to/from Kandos was easy and a relief not to be dodging fast cars and trucks.
- Clean, good service, food amazing
Cons -
- bathrooms are dirty beds are very uncomfortable, not clean bed sheets
- It seemed to us the pub stay at The Globe has dropped off in terms of matintnance, gardens and quality of the meals. It can be expected with a cheaper nightly room rate, but the difference since this pub was taken over 10 years ago has faded. The Rylstone Hotel nearby and those in Kandos are taking advantage and getting the bookings. Note: there is nil disabled access to the rooms upstairs.
- Needs some maintenance - of the four men's toilet stalls, one of the door locks was broken and another toilet was barred. Toaster was broken and needed to be manually held on. Small fixes would add another rating point.

Clean, good service, food amazing
The staff were lovley. The price was reasonable and conveniently located near our required venue. The kitchen staff were charming, and the food was enjoyable.
Good quality continental breakfast. Aircon. Nice common room we played card games in. Restaurant downstairs.

Location
The a/c made very loud noises during the night which kept us awake. even when it was turned off.
Check in was very easy and relaxed at the front bar. Great service from Dave, what a legend!
Nothing you wouldn't expect from an old country pub with charm.
Breakfast was included Ceiling roses in each room are beautiful Beds were clean and comfortable.
Pub is a little old and tired. No milk supplied in kitchen fridge so had to buy some ourself for breakfast. No shampoo and conditioner supplied.Carpets in common areas weren't the cleanest. Some holes in fly screen.
Aircon and fan
Bed too hard
Friendly and helpful staff. Good food
Wi fi coverage was poor
Stunning country town the atmosphere was great the publican was a legend the locals playing darts were also legends couldn't say a bad thing. Will be back.
Great pub, friendly staff, nice location
Rooms are a bit tired
Breakfast was included in price. It was a 'help yourself' style of breakfast - cereal, bread, coffee/tea bags. There wasn't enough milk in the fridge - supply wasn't checked for restocking. Dishes/cups/cutlery appeared clean but we rewashed them before use.
The rooms smelled very musty; mattresses were uncomfortable; shared bathrooms and toilet facilities were questionable.
No one explained breakfast to me so i went across the road to cafe
I was on my motorbike which i parked at bottom of stair at rear of building. For security i think a movement sensor light facing carpark would be good. Also would give guests light when unloading car and bring luggage up stairs.
Exceptional & friendly helpful staff, good food and it’s central location is convenient
The mattress felt bare and could have used a mattress pad or something to not feel the “bones” of the mattress. The toilet and showers needed better cleaning. The rear entry area needs a tidy up
Great people amazing food
The rooms and bathrooms were a bit daggy but it’s an ozzy pub.
Great location.Friendly staff.Fan in room.Hot water tap worked in room.Great food.Nest and tidy room.Extra blanket was good.Great entertainment area.
No toilet paper early Sunday morning.
Nice historic pub, comfortable room, good common area. Really good cheap stopover. Safe, comfortable and clean.
No vegan options in restaurant
Convenient location. The history of the place. Nice and quiet after 10pm resulting in good night's sleep. Safe place and small shops close by for coffee etc
The locks to the toilet and showers in the men's require repairs. They do not work,
I enjoyed just being able to go to the little kitchen and help myself to some cereal or toast. It was simple but adequate and convenient.
The floor in the ladies shower collected pools of water so didn’t dry out.
