Silver Oaks Motel

Best pool of all motels that we stayed at. Price was OK. Comfortable bed.

Chinese restaurant next door

Very small, broken glass walls in showers

No breakfast taken

Old furniture and furnishing. Poor television reception

Staff friendly with a warm welcome room was what you'd expect. Service bus provided to the RSL for tea

Not much we enjoyed the stay overnight

Excellent friendly customer service. Room was spacious, well equipped and had good lighting. Guest laundry, no charge, and provided soap. good parking spot.

Size of the room was good for the price.

We could hear our neighbour showering in the early hours of the morning and vehicles starting early in the grounds of the bowling club next door.

Great facilities and clean and comfortable.

The noisy neighbours

Lovely check in staff. Friendly and courteous.directly across the road from the information centre and even though on highway the noise is minimal. Great location to walk across and do the fully concreted windmill walk. Loved it

Very friendly staff. Room clean and comfortable. Great location to Newell Highway.

We are frequent travelers that often stay at this motel when passing through. Great location super comfy bed!

My only thing would be - we smelt a sewerage type smell coming from the bathroom.

Friendly and helpful staff

The shower. You can't help with the water going out of shower area. Which makes the floor outside of shower area very wet.

I love it the rooms was big clean fresh bathrooms.. my family loved it cheap for a family room $150 a night with pool n close walking distance to Club which was great..

Upgrade to Kingsize bed.

Misleading photos on internet. Toiletries dispensers were poorly located. Basin in vanity so large there was no room for guest's toiletries, had to use windowsill or toilet seat for our toiletries. Paintwork very poor.

If you don’t use the bathroom it’s passable

The bathroom was awful. Looked like the 70ies and never updated. Filthy

Very good that it can have dogs stay in your room, overall solid room/service

Grassed area had prickles that got in dogs feet, fenced area for dogs would have been good but i appreciate this is not essential.

Friendly staff, easy to book. Great location and excellent price, they even had a lovely area to walk our dog. We will book again next time we are travelling through that area.

I love the location off highway just outta town & next to Bowling club. Lovely meals & friendly people. It's peaceful & quiet

Spacious, clean & comfortable room. . Swimming pool a bonus & staff are friendly. Close to Bowling Club & easy access.

Nil

Very basic room, clean and dog friendly. Quiet location

Apartment was nice and the pool was great

Unfortunately toilet in our room was leaking, causing flooding the bathroom. Luckily this drained into the drain and shower so it doesn’t flood the bedroom area. Just a little unsanitary and off putting.
