Coachmans Rest Motor Lodge

Right from stepping into the reception area, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. Derrick and Carol were very friendly and helpful hosts. The room was delightful; invoking images in my mind of the gracious rooms of an earlier era , a little sample of life in a quieter and more simple way of life but with modern conveniences. I'm looking forward o my next visit .

The owners were extremely helpful and lovely people, very easy going and care free, been travelling for a week and their beds seemed to be the comfiest, the grounds are also kept very well maintained, very welcoming place overall

The room was very spacious, bathroom had plenty of room, it was clean, was super comfy and the staff were very accommodating, only slight let down was a little bit of road noise from passing trucks. Overall very happy and will book again if i am up that way.Motel is pet friendly which was a key point for us, owners were even interested enough to ask our dogs names. And to top it off, very good value for money......Thanks

Very friendly owners who went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Lovely pool, clean, comfortable room and just a few mins' drive from town with a lovely bakery for breakfast and/or lunch. Several options for dinner too. Highly recommend this motel.

Friendly helpful staff. Great room, spacious with a lounge, coffee table plus dining table and chairs. Well maintained property and really clean and quiet rooms. Very pet friendly. Everything you could want when travelling.

Very friendly and welcoming, also making sure they knew our dogs name. Clean and comfortable, also providing windscreen washing buckets for a well travelled vehicle. It’s all these little things that make a difference.

No cutlery

Very basic old fashioned room.Microwave in room but no crockery or cutlery to be able to be used.There was only 2 cups and 2 teaspoons.Mattresses on the beds very hard.

Felt like I was back in the 1950s

Plenty of room for our dogs to walk around. Clean comfy room with good air-conditioning.
