Great for a weekend stay in the middle of Broken Hill Clean warm and quiet.

The location is excellent - not far from the centre of town. The room had plates, bowls and cutlery so we were able to have breakfast there.

We travelled with our pet dog and the room allocated was in the corner of the L-shaped plan of the motel units so we had little natural light. The windows were up high and consequently the interior felt drab and somewhat grim. The other motel units had larger windows facing the carparking area.

Bit noisy, you can hear the people that stay next to you. Well, I could in the room I had.

Not a beauty to look at but inside packed with all the expected facilities. A compfy bed and plenty of space. Excellent location. Quiet for sleeping but within easy walking distace of the action. Value for money.

The room was clean and comfortable, unfortunately there was a lot of ants and bugs dead and alive all over the bench. There was a can of fly spray on the top of the cupboard, so I think maybe the room was sprayed prior to my arrival.

The Argent was of excellent value, clean, and close to the city centre. It was a cool, nostalgic trip back to a different era of travel. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

The motel was close to old city area and within easy walking distance. Plenty of coffee/breakfast places. Close to attractions .

The furniture was a little dated but rooms clean and tidy.

The motel was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was great - just at the end of the main street. It was a short walk to the Demo Club in the main street, where we ate every night. There was a fabulous mineral museum across the road, well worth a visit.

Location was fantastic, close to everything.

Bathroom tiny, kitchen facilities although there, were just off the toilet/bathroom. It was however clean abd suitable for our one night stay. You don't see staff because you put your phone number in and your room key pops out. Not a fan of this idea.

The online key system worked well. The room was comfortable and clean.

Easy to check in at anytime with the key box, room was clean and well presented, air conditioner was already on for us and there were icy cold water bottles ready to go in the fridge, had a great nights sleep - very happy!

No fault of the property at all, but both sides of us were smokers and smoking was encouraged with ash trays directly in front of the rooms, we could smell it really strong in our room (even with no windows or door open, not great with my 8 yr old asthmatic with us.

Great better than expected. Given the location in town, it was very quiet. Walking distance to good pub.
