The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Lovely linen.

Rooms were very small & compact but modern

Disappointing

The room was much smaller than expected. Same sink was used for dishes as personal hygiene which is not good.Fridge was not clean and had out of date milk in it.Chairs badly needed cleaning.

It was a lovely place to stay. I have one issue. They contacted me regarding this and were very apologetic regarding a renovation issue. Lovely people and lovely facilities.

Hole in the wall covered up by cardboard which blew off with wind but the issue was with builders and lack of communication and it should have already been rectified. They were sincerely sorry for my discomfort. Plus the was a wind storm at the time. Not in their control. Still content with how they handled it.

Reasonably close to all shops

Crockery was dirty. Pool was green. Milk given was out of date. But apparently it would be fine still

Lovely room, very nice beds and space. Small kitchen space but had everything we needed.

Staff, dinner and the facilities and room

Loved how close it was to everything. Pool was a hit with our family and was a good wind down as we were in between work travel. Good and staff were amazing as always!

Location, comfy beds

Toilet door didn’t close, no screen on bathroom window and only 1 ABC channel on tv nothing else at all.

I was particularly grateful that, when I advised that we had left a shirt in the cupboard, the staff was only too happy to forward it to our home address.

Everything was totally satisfactory, though I was rather sorry that no-one was there to greet us, or farewell us in the morning. The personal reception, I think, is super important, as tourists have questions, such as recommendations for dinner, places to visit, etc. However, the communication I had with staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was very small but we managed to put our cases on the spare bed. No cutlery or crockery was supplied but a quick walk to the office and we were able to find some.The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good.The meal we had from the restaurant was delicious and flavoursome. The chef was friendly and happy.

the pool area was infested by ants so we weren't able to sit and have our happy hour around the pool as intended.A bit too far to walk to town but there is one taxi which we booked.

Away from the main roads so super quiet. Beds were comfy

Booking.com does not provide the correct key collect code, and the reception area was not manned during usual business hours.Called the the numbers provided and got the code.However incorrect key had been provided. Called the numbers again and was told someone would be there in 5 minutes. We wait 20 minutes (in a heat wave) yes we could have waited in the cool car but for some reason we didn't. After no one rocking up for 20 minutes I Called the number but no response when finally the main operator arrived and explained the situation however a quick call from the person who had said they would be 5 minutes would have made the waiting acceptable and we would have jumped in the car while we waited. Nearly cancelled the booking.Also website stated there was a restaurant however this was not operating at the time. Not sure if it still is

Great location close to town centre with easy access from main roads.Very clean throughout.

Check in staff were off hand and uninterested in service.Restaurant not available.Difficult parking.Compact room with no exhaust fan in shower/toilet.

Hilltop motel has clean rooms and comfy beds.

Kitchen is not a kitchen without a Sink, cutting board and cooking top followed by a few basic pots or frypan and utensils. In our room it was just kitchen furniture with a microwave, kettle and toaster. Dishwashing had to be done in the bathroom sink. Only two little milk bottles were supplied for 4 person stay for two nights. Swimming pool water was dirty. Was told that Bbq does not work (then saw it being used by staff), pool got closed for private function so we had to limit our time... Not coming back.

New renovated motel, good location, great value.

Water pressure for shower is low but I guess we need to save water.

Common problem - mattresses are quite soft and unevenStaff are not on site so any issues you can ring and hope someone answersAlso , multiple night stays, they dont make up the room each day

The bed and shower

I don’t believe we were given a Queen deluxe room which we paid for as the room was very small and not the same layout as the photos. There is no privacy in the room unless you keep the curtains closed. I would be amazed if the room was 32 m2 as listed. The photo looked more like a studio with a cooker etc which was not what we got.
