Pros +
- The rooms were an excellent size with clean modern decor. The king bed was huge and extermely soft & snuggly.
- LocationVery clean
- Swimming pool and little else
Cons -
- There was a lineup of say 10 people for breakfast however the staff dealt with this very well & efficiently. We were seated within 8 minutes
- Live tv would not work first thing in the morning. Turn on tv to watch news and no live tv on any channel would work. Noise from upstairs residents when moving around. Sliding fly screen to balcony would nit lock.
- Staff never smile apart from 2 members rather miserable and look stressed. Breakfast removed at 9.30 is ridiculous. Dinner cannot be served on balcony. Pool bar never opened at all. Food pretty average. Moved rooms to a single as suite was awful. Overall not value for money. Barossa should offer better

Nice room, lovely views, resort facilities, excellent main dining hall for breakfast lunch and dinner
Our room was about as far as one can get from the central facilities. Normally not an issue but on 45 degree days, not so enjoyable. Proximity to wineries is excellent.
First stay at this resort.Kelly at front desk was amazingly friendly and helpful.Room was ready early for our convenience. Air conditioning on for our comfort. Just lovely
We like the pool area and the complimentary wine tasting.
We didn’t like the room because there were heaps of glass shards that I even stepped on one. Traveling with my little one this was a huge disappointment.
Overall, it was ok. The pool and restaurant was nice and the staff were friendly.
There were dead flies scattered throughout the 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in. The first night, we found a cockroach, thought it was a one off, but the next day we found 4-5 cockroaches in the kitchen cupboards and on our luggage in the bedroom. Told the lady at check out and they said it was due to the heat and vines, but it was more like an infestation.
Location, ease of getting around, restaurant, rooms and views
Bath would have been great and service was slow

Staff, food and value for money
The room was very tidy and clean. The pool was very clean also. The staff were very kind and helpful.
The bed was a little bit too firm. When we ordered drinks at the pool, it took about 30mins to receive the drinks each time - was a little too long to wait.
Not disable friendly and unfortunately...
Not disable friendly at all - no lifts to the second floor, only steps. It was a struggle getting luggage upstairs.. Unfortunately it is not value for money. Dismal choice for room service and no snacks or drinks available in rooms.
Good location, it had a pool
Bathroom was 7/10 clean when we arrived, but we were there for 4 nights and the shower and bathroom floor, toilet etc wasn’t cleaned everyday when they refreshed my room.Pool area was messy.
Nice location and views of the vineyard views from room
Found the buffet breakfast did not reflect the price paid.
The resort is in a fabulous location with beautiful views from all rooms. Our two bedroom room was spacious and the pool is amazing. Also we utilised room service quite a lot on our two night stay and the meals were good, we didn’t have to wait long to receive our meals.
The furniture in the rooms is cheap and basic. An update would go a long way to give a more resort like feel. For what we paid I would have expected something more upmarket. The kitchen was very basic with a funny old cook top and only a bread knife and no cutting board for cutting food.
Quiet, nice view, comfortable
Slight cooking smell in room from previous occupier but opened sliding door and let fresh air in for few hours seemed to help a bit
Think before you book and...
Walk alley or outside the room doors, lots of insects and spiders, considering it's a kids friendly resort, they should do pest control often if they don't..Kitchen amenities in room should be improved. Room service comes every morning but don't even take rubbish or clean plates used from dinner. Requested for some extra plates and glasses for dinner - have to explain the staff why it's needed and how many it's needed - still they didn't deliver what was asked. Not helpful as they were kinda forcing you to use only those glasses, plates and cutleries which were provided with the property. Breakfast is same every day - no changes at all. People living for more than 1 day - should consider your options. Pool was written as heated pool, but we went twice and it was never heated.
We loved our stay at the Barossa Novotel for its peaceful, calming environment — the perfect place to slow down and unwind. It’s also very family-friendly, with plenty to keep kids happy. Great food, open spaces, and fun activities like tennis, table tennis, and swimming meant our little one was entertained while we relaxed. A lovely balance of serenity and family time.
Everything was perfect
Balcony and view. early checkin. Location. Updated decor
