Large comfortable room . Good food and very large portion sizes.

Nothing to dislike

Great staff, all welcoming and competent

No getting around the age of the rooms. Fresh paint and carpets are a start made, but next is a through steam clean of the bathrooms. Housekeeping are doing as best they can. The restaurant was fantastic, serving an eclectic mix of older couples on romantic escapades, hi-viz workwear, a mob of motorcycle riders, families with small children, all happily dining on excellent tucker. Best Calamari. Ever. The duck curry great too, and to be hyper critical, I'd ditch the cabbage and add coriander, as this close to excellence deserves a final push.

The location was perfect for us on a fishing trip. All fish was cleaned offsite as the town offered fish cleaning stations which kept the accommodation clean and smell free - this was a bonus. The staff at the front counter was lovely, the room spacious for a twin room and we would come back here again.

I didnt expect to wash my kitchen items in the bathroom sink, but it is not a negative.

The room was very dated and in need of some renovations. Bathroom and kitchen need upgrading. Furnishings need updating. The plumbing is an issue.

There was a hotel on site so were able to eat dinner without driving anywhere. The staff were very friendly.
