Dog friendly motel with large room newly refurbished and everything you need.

Not much to be honest.

Old gross carpet, grotty shower with standing water, don't service rooms daily, paying for something more than basic when it falls well below basic.

About the lake front view and the quietness

The interiors look a bit old and dint give us the as feeling as the photos shown in the ad

Our host Ken was amazing, very accommodating. Checking in ànd making sure we were accommodated before we arrived, while there and again after.Place was cozy, enough bed space for the whole family and very spacious.

We did hear the neighbors coming and going as the walls were a little thin

Ken was very lovely and very helpful. Beds were comfortable and room was clean with everything you need. Really enjoyed our stay by the lake.

Wifi was a bit intermittent.

The window blinds didn't keep ot the flashing light that was outside, curtains would make the room look and feel a lot more homely

I loved the friendly staff, very welcoming and accommodating.

Unfortunately it smelt very old and musty, ants on the sink at night and the bed was very itchy. Shower was a bit small, All it needs is a bit of an update and it will be great x

The view is amazing. Staff super friendly.

Not about the property at all. It rained the whole time we were there so couldn’t enjoy much of the area. But still an amazing spot

great location, the owner of the motel is very friendly. Good size rooms and all the facilities were available on site. Neat and tidy place.

The bathing towers, they are not clean.

Property was in a prime spot! Nice and quiet area and beautiful views. Rooms have everything we needed and very family friendly with a huge backyard with a kids play area. Owner was lovely and would often make sure we had fresh towels and enough coffee/tea. Beautiful dog Cody was definitely a plus. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

Location on the lake ,north of Rotorua. Good size, and with cooking facilities and BBQ

Location to Lake Rotorua and access to main road. Peaceful stay.

the main room was quite dated and curtains require an upgrade for privacy. However the bathroom was well kept and modern.

Room weren't serviced meaning ( towels) had to ask for clean towels

Disgusting property

Dirty facilities with none matching curtains and musty smelling beds and bedding. Received flea bites from the beds.

Quiet location, overlooking the lake, plenty of passers-by walking children, dogs, running, swimming etc.

The location to the lake and surrounding rivers was phenomenal. Great signage and accessibility to find the place.

Room was clean and tidy, air conditioner was great, so was shower. Everything worked well including WIFI. Beds were comfortable. View of the lake was beautiful. The motel owner was friendly and very helpful.

The room was musty - noticeable every time we opened the room door and when opening the kitchen cupboards. The outside of the motel needs maintenance - garden need weeding and garden boxes need painting. Gravel on driveway needs topping up and raking. We don't mind older motels as they are usually good value for money and we had good memories staying here 30 years ago, but this time it looked and smelled neglected. My stay is also affected by the different price charged from that advertised.
