Location

Wifi miserable...ok in nearby cafes but not in room.

Perfect location with friendly and knowledgeable staff with recommendations for things to do in the area. Fun beachside town to visit for a couple of days while touring the northern part of the country. The kitchen and lounge area were wonderful places to hang out with amazing views over the bay.

Hot airless, stuffy rooms with not enough room to swing a cat. It was terrible.

The hostel is right on the boardwalk, and the view from the kitchen is beautiful! The beds were very comfortable, the shower was really nice, and the common areas were cool! The kitchen was also huge.

Not much, but the rooms were a little small so not much space for bags.

Room 6. Had a very damp yuk wet smell, it was in the carpet. Opening the very small window and trying to air it out did not help.Also the shower was very weak.At night was stuffy. (Lack of airflow).Location it self was fantastic, close to everything.

Fantastic location and beautiful views. Staff were friendly and helpful, offering advice on parking, swimming spots and general chatting with visitors. Beds were thick mattresses and very comfortable with privacy curtains.

Rooms were incredibly hot at night even at the start of Autumn. Staff had put fans in the room however without windows that open there was minimal airflow. Location is slightly hard to find due to being down alleyway.

The location was excellent. The staff are great.

Appreciated the friendly service provided by the staff. Traveling solo, unfamiliar to the area and only a few days to explore, the gentleman at reception had some good recommendations for a bush walk, dinner spot and some exploring on the ferry. Thank you

Shared showers and very small rooms

Staff super, thank you for making me feel so welcome. Facilities excellent. Large kitchen, dining and lounge area with wide windows overlooking the bay. Fabulous views. Loved it!

Room a tad small

Staff. Central. Comfortable and clean. Bed/pillow comfy. Light and sockets at bedhead. SeaView from seating area - amazing!

Size of rooms - ridiculously small for number of beds. Shared showers.

Very clean. Lovely staff. Well stocked kitchen. Large amount of fridge space. Room was decent twin with en suite. But see below, hot

Room was very very hot. A fan was provided but it was uncomfortable

We slept in windowless room that was very hot and uncomfortable. It should have a skylight that can be opened. The shower room had a smell to it. The staff were nice and I like the view.

fantastic location and view

A 60+ male was put in a 4-bed room with 3 young women. More thought and consideration should have been put into the room allocation and/or there should be an age limit. We felt uncomfortable at times.

Fantastic location. Beautiful view of the bay from the communal lounge and kitchen. Large communal spaces and well equipped kitchen.

The room was rather hot, although two fans were provided which did help.

Amazing location, just 5 minutes walk from the bus terminal and the ferry terminal. The living room and kitchen have a beautiful view over the bay. Overall the place felt very safe.

The rooms are very small and hot (some rooms left their doors constantly opened to get some air.) You cannot seat up on the lower bunk bed or you bang your head constantly. The place was fairly clean although it could have been better (and the toilets ran out of toilet paper.) The staff was not as helpful as hoped when I came to ask about tours and activities in the area.
