Huge comfortable room, nice bathroom, complimentary use of umbrella, undercover parking, great location.

The room is on the first floor so there is a flight of stairs for access. Would be difficult for people frailer than us.

Paihia Pacific Resort offered good value for money for our family of four, with two double beds that worked well for us. Staff was friendly. The kids especially enjoyed the pool, which was a great bonus. The location was convenient too, about a 15-minute walk to the town center, making it easy to get around without being right in the busy area.

The only negative for us was the shower over the bathtub, which may not suit everyone. It’s also not a luxury getaway, if that’s what you’re after.

This place was great value for money and the pool and location was excellent. The motel met all of our needs for a one-night stay in Paihia after a long hike to Cape Brett the day before. The pool was amazing and the staff really friendly. Would definitely recommend this motel to anyone staying in Paihia as the location is very close to the town center so an easy to walk to any facilities. Would definitely stay here again if we were to come to Paihia again and would recommend.

Nothing, all our expectations were met and facilities were more than acceptable.

Nice central location, we enjoyed the pool, comfortable beds and friendly staff, good shower pressure. Great value for your money if you are visiting off peak season.

Bathroom was a bit dated

The staff were warm and attentive, providing thoughtful care for the elderly during our trip. The spacious room was clean, tidy, and warmly with facilities in excellent condition—exceeding my expectations. After a long day of sightseeing, returning to the room offered a comforting sense of being at home. Appreciate the nice stay !

Beds need to be changed as they are way too hard and uncomfortable.

Beds were hard and uncomfortable. TV was cutting in and out of service. The hallway was very echoey and noisey. Bathroom floor was slippery and condensation on the walls, yet no one had had a shower. The complex was far from the pool, you had to walk through the carpark, across the driveway to the building next door.

Lovely clean room, Staff super helpful. Location was perfect for walking into the main centre and to the beach.

The hotel was very nice and very clean. The pool was amazing and even the continental breakfast was great.

Comfy beds

Shower has mould that could be easily cleaned. The room was damp. The carpet felt wet and the bathroom floor was sticky

Couldn’t stay longer

Easy check in, great reception hosts, great location, room was spacious. Big shower. Very clean.

The owner at the reception was very kind and helpful.

Although it’s called a hotel, it falls far below even the basic standards of a motel. The rooms have an unpleasant smell, and the exterior lights are turned off at night, creating a potentially hazardous environment. While the owner appears to be a kind and helpful person, he seems to lack a basic understanding of what it takes to operate a hotel that is clean, comfortable, and up to standard. We booked multiple rooms for our extended family, and unfortunately, no one was satisfied with the accommodations. The stay was uncomfortable and disappointing overall. Moldy tea bag attached as an example of many issues.

Clean comfortable room .Good undercover parking which was handy considering the inclement weather we experienced.

Accommodation suited convention participants rather than tourists. It was located a fair way from the town centre hence required vehicle access.No microwave or eating utensils. Nowhere to prepare meals.Breakfast was available but need to be booked in advance.Access to our room was up 2 flights of 7 stairs.Very awkward with luggage unless young and fit.

Room was great! Reception team was really nice, manager was very nice and easy to talk to. Pool was cool as well.

The pool could be improved by being heated as it was too cold to swim in and the rooms could all have a microwave as well.

We didn't make use of the pool but looked nice. Room was large and beds reasonably comfortable.

The car park was a bit dark - no motion sensors. Shower head was very low - I am 175 and i hit my head on it twice.

The staff are friendly, and the location is fantastic.
