Mangonui Waterfront Apartments

We love the Waterfront Apartments this is our 2nd stay. Its a great location a short walk to shops, cafes, bar etc. Nestled high above the road, with great views of the harbour, beautiful sunrise to wake up to.

Beautiful water views, tastefully decorated apartment, well maintained and equipped., convenient parking, and located near shops and restaurants.

Door was very hard to open and close - I know this was due to outside moisture levels - but it should be fixed.There was a gutter or downpipe outside the room which was not working properly and was noisy - again this should be addressed.The central light in the room did not work.

Lovely views and location. Historic building well furnished and cozy with the heater on.

The facility was clean, comfortable, walking distance to attractions, bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Ran out of toilet paper, no spare rolls. Wifi was slow.

Great location. Heritage style, but very comfortable room. Steep driveway in, but close to all facilities.Good range of eating establishments. We chose the "Mangonui Hotel" the most northern pub in N.Z. great fish and chip meal, good range of beer. The local Macaw entertained the customers.The gift shop had a good range of products and delightful staff.

lack of windows that could be opened the doors where the windows except for one side window which was stuck ajar

The location and view from the balcony were outstanding. The apartment was well appointed and tastefully decorated.

Our host, Daniel, was great! He made us feel at home and offered many suggestions from where to eat to fun activities. The apartments were clean and quite comfortable and centrally located. Easy walking distance to most things.

We could not fault our stay at Mangonui Waterfront Apartments. As we had a front room with a balcony the view was magnificent. Location perfect as it was in the middle of the town so close to restaurants, shops etc. The unit was clean and modern and the bed was heaven. Best night sleep ever! We hope to go back.

Great quiet location with lots of restaurants nearby to choose from. Beautiful view from our verandah overlooking the water. Thankfully able to extend our stay with thanks to the owner. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

I got everything I need, the apartment was beautiful, clean and cosy.If you want the host is happy to share recommendations - all of them where super nice. I even did a detour which was stunning and happy that I did

It was a perfect place to stay with a view of the water from our room. However, the location was not a place I would go back to. We just didn't feel comfortable at the beach. But the room was great, if you do find yourself staying in this area.
